I have been using Weiss & Associates for years. I work for the city and ride a motorcycle. They have handled at least a dozen tickets for me ranging from reckless driving to speeding. Don't get nervous if it's taking a long time. It seems to be a kick the can down the road strategy where if you are patient it pays off big time. Super duper professional. You get emails updates about your case every step of the way. Mr. Weiss even has a newsletter he emails you containing tips and best practices for dealing with police. One of his tips worked so well the cop gave me a side of the road reduction for 20 miles over to 5. and then Weiss got it tossed. As a rule lawyers make me nervous as you usually only need them when you need a beacon of hope during times when options seem limited and the consequences are severe. Recently I got stopped while driving my car. Taillight was out. I remembered reading in Weiss' newsletter that some law enforcement was taking photos of licenses during stops rather than handling them. When the trooper came back to my car he said he wasn't going to give me a ticket because I was the ONLY person who had NOTHING to say about his request to photograph my license. I say all this to say all cops and all lawyers aren't bad. But when you run into a bad cop it's good to have a well-heeled, battle tested lawyer fighting ferociously for you.
