Great lawyer, great guy

Alex helped me with an employment discrimination case from start to finish. He was smart, aggressive and caring. He took the time to explain every aspect of my case to me and provide me with realistic, pragmatic advice. When we first met, he predicted various ranges in which my case could settle a...nd got me a great settlement in the end. I am very happy with his service and could not possibly recommend him more highly.

Great attorney - until not

I hired Alexander to assist with a non-compete contract matter. He surprised me with his hyper-responsiveness. He answers right away, makes time for you, is very thorough in answering questions and does not count your minutes of consultation. I got a ton of information from him, he assisted on a s...econdary contract that needed to be drafted and did just a fabulous job all around. At this point, he had all 5 stars. 6 months later I called back due to a development, to clarify a detail about something he had said to me in the original process, something that was very important and which influenced my decisions significantly. Alex suddenly said that he could not have said such a thing, that what I remembered wasn't correct and that actually the whole thing is like "this". It was a shocking reversal of the substance of the advice. I went from being pretty sure that I was safe from future legal action, to being someone who is going to have to worry for many years to come. I don't think it would be fair to conclude that Alex is not a great attorney. But looking back, I really wish I had gotten a written summary of some key points that had been discussed.
