Todd and his paralegal Alex and assistant Shantel are the best team I have ever come across. I came to Todd on May 21, 2017 on a Sunday morning ready to have a stroke, because I was being investigated by HRA fraud department. At this time I had received the target letter on May 19, 2017 from them say...ing I was being investigated for food stamp and Medicaid fraud. This was the scariest situation I have ever found myself in. The firm has a team that handles Medicaid and food stamp fraud investigations in NYC. I went to the Downtown Brooklyn office and met with Todd from the time I saw him and the way he greeted me and my spouse we knew that we were in good hands. He gave us such a warm welcoming feeling we felt very comfortable as if we knew each other for years. I was in search for a criminal lawyer due to my 16 yr old (at the time) daughter getting in trouble for stealing at one of the Macy's store. Todd is a empathetic and compassionate advocate with a really funny sense of humor. I think the reason a lot of clients are drawn to his firm, is that he has the unique ability to ease client's fears by explaining all of the details of the process, and avoiding surprises. The weekly meetings take a l...ot of the pressure off. The support staff is there for the clients and this makes all of the difference in an unfortunate situation. However, you will find that it is not easy to get a hold of him during the day as he is often in court, this was incredibly frustrating once we started representation but once I scheduled calls it became much easier and I understand why as once you are in court you have no idea when it will end. Let me not kid you, this is not fun. Lawyers are not fun. Courts are not fun. However, if you find the right lawyer/paralegals it will make all the difference.
