Great Lawyer

I was arrested on Shoplifting Case, I found Mr. Blauvelt very professional and responsible. He handled my case very professionally and got my Case Dismissed on the first day of the court. I would strongly recommend him to everyone for all the Shoplifting Cases.

Great lawyer

As a former prosecutor, I went against Tom many times and he was one of my toughest adversaries. He is one of the smartest and hardest working criminal defense lawyers in the area.

Outstanding Representation provided in my defense of a recent D.U.I.

Thomas C. Blauvelt handled my DUI case with the highest degree of professionalism. Thomas understood the severity of my case and immediately requested a meeting to make me aware of the severity of the charges and the consequences for me. Thomas had a clear understanding of all of the laws pertainin...g to the matter and immediately noticed discrepancies in the machines that tested me for the DUI and the time required of 20 minutes monitored before and between tests that was required by law. Due to this the tests were thrown out of the case and my sentence was reduced to a minimum DUI by observation of 90 days and a reduced fine only. If it was not for Thomas Blauvelt I would have recieved 7 months loss of license and a mandatory ignition lock after I had my license restored and higher fines with the possibility of community service.

DWI Dismissal - New Jersey

Mr. Blauvelt, I wanted to thank you for all you have done with my DWI case which led to a DWI dismissal. NJ DWI was tough to say the least. As a first time offender to any trouble with the law, I was completely overwhelmed with the situation. The situation was extremely stressful --- even ...emotional --- as the outcome of the case would have a major impact on my daily life, career and most importantly my family. The most frightening part of this charge on me was that if convicted, it would change my life for a very, very long time. This was not a one-time deal as negative results would haunt me for years. Especially at the beginning but throughout the case, you not only gave sound legal advice but most of all you roped in all of my uncertainties. With this life-changing situation I became a little crazed, but your ability to take control of the situation and your support, eased my stress level and made me think more clearly. I believe this clear thinking led to the right DWI approach and ultimately a very positive outcome (a DWI dismissal). I hope to never have to use you again, but your calling card remains in my wallet, your number on my cell, so if the need arises you will be the first I call.
