Thomas is the Man! Best Traffic Attorney I Have Used!

Thomas has helped me out with my most recent and past traffic incidents. I hired Thomas initially for a 102 in 65, reckless and improper lane change. It didn't help that I already had about 13 points on my license. He managed to get 2 of the charges thrown out and the speeding ticket reduced so I end...ed up with 4 points instead of 12 and a reduced fine. He also prevented a lengthy suspension and I was only without a license for 20 days. He did a good job overall but this was a pretty cut and dry incident in my mind. Here is where Thomas really shined... We reviewed my driving history and my last stop before this was in 2009. It was a 9 point stop - 5pt tailgating and 4pt speeding. I had moved down to Florida and didn't want to deal with hiring an attorney or going to court at the time so I just plead guilty, paid the fine and took the 9 points. As I did not use a lawyer, nor plea bargain, Thomas filed a motion to reopen the case. The judge granted the request and I just went to court with Thomas. The result was they dropped the tailgating ticket and reduced the speeding ticket to just 2 points - YES 4 YEARS LATER! This was HUGE for me as it took 7 points off my license and should prevent a further suspension at an upcoming hearing. IF YOU PLEAD GUILTY AND DIDN'T PLEA BARGAIN OR USE AN ATTORNEY FOR PAST OFFENSES, CALL THOMAS! I am a pretty picky person and for me to call Thomas "the man" says a lot. His card has a permanent home in my 700 horsepower M3.

A bleak DUI Case that had the best possible outcome!

This past May, I was stopped at a DUI checkpoint at the Turnpike Exit 9 Toll Booths. I received a DUI charge of 0.15 BAC, reckless driving charge, a careless driving charge and a ticket for an expired registration card. I was looking at a 7 months license suspension, an ignition interlock device for... 6-12 months following the suspension, 12-48 hrs IDRC, $300-500 fine and various surcharges. I was pretty upset since it would greatly affect my commute to work but I met with multiple lawyers and discussed my case. I met with Mr. Thomas Blauvelt after reading his positive reviews for DUI Cases online. I met with Tom and we discussed my case but the one thing that stuck out to me more about Tom than the other lawyers is that he sat there for 30 minutes and listened to my case and asked me every detail of the night, and pointed out every single defensive approach we had. The other lawyers I met with listened to my case, asked me my BAC, and then told me the fines and suspensions I was facing and their retainer fees…they never even bothered to ask for the details. Right then I knew Mr. Blauvelt was the right choice. The case went on for about 5 months and on the final court appearance when things were looking dismal (7 month suspension), Mr. Blauvelt’s persistence was able to get the .15 BAC reading removed from my case based on a 20 min timing issue with the BAC testing on the Alcotest machine. This dropped my punishment to the lower-tier punishments for a DUI (90 day suspension, a lesser fine, and 12 hrs IDRC). He also got the other charges dismissed. I left court extremely satisfied with Mr. Blauvelt’s representing me for this case. I definitely recommend Mr. Blauvelt. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Speeding Ticket in Newark NJ

Tom provided sound guidance to me and the court that got a 96mph speeding ticket reduced to a zero point 'unsafe operation' + fine. Was looking at a license suspension if I had gone without Tom. Results speak for themselves.

Excellent - Handled the Shoplifting Case very well - Dismissed.

My spouse was suspected of shoplifting in NJ. Since we are immigrants, the case course can have serious legal consequences. When we met him for the initial consultation, he clearly dissected the possibilities of the case. It truly showed the experience he had. He was clearly able to understand the me...ntal state we were in and made our life so easy. Because of the way he navigated the case... the final status ... dismissed.

Best lawyer in New Jersey

I've had multiple traffic violation cases throughout New Jersey (my doing and responsibility), including driving while suspended, third offense, which would have resulted in my incarceration if it wasn't for the great work of Mr. Blauvelt. Thomas have made the impossible happen, and thanks to him, I ...avoided the harsh punishments of NJ judicial system. I'm a much more responsible person now, and definitely know that I will avoid getting into trouble. Thomas have handled my cases with professionalism and ease, years in the field, knowledge and experience showing. I am highly recommending this individual to those in trouble, he will help you! Stay out of trouble, but if you are experiencing one, call Thomas C. Blauvelt.
