How do you charge a juvenile in NJ?

Mr. Popovich explained why he would not pursue a case against a minor who was harassing me and my business. Although I did not necessarily agree with everything he said, he gave me his opinion in the way that an attorney would interpret the law, which I have found over the years, is not the way laym...en would interpret the law. It appears that in my case, there really is not much that could be done and that is not the fault of this attorney. At least he did not waste my time/money by giving me hope that I might be able to win this case. Trust me, I have had attorneys that brought me into the office stating that they wanted to look at the case, took my money and then basically threw the case when we got to court. It has given me a distrust for most attorneys. I'm glad that at least Mr. Popovich gave me an honest opinion regarding the case and that he would not pursue it.

Wonderful feedback

William provided the most detailed and most helpful answers to my questions on Avvo. His advice is consistent with medical recommendations in my area of concern. He certainly goes out of his way to help and his advice is very insightful, giving me confidence in the actions I am pursuing.

A great Lawyer for hire

Mr.Popovich, Thanks so much for your time and advice. I wish you practiced in Virginia! You didn't have to take the time to help me and continue to answer my questions when I had not retained you. Even though you could not help me due to my matter being out of state, you showed care and concern fo...r my issue and I greatly appreciate you very much for your assistance and advice. The laws on the books need to be revised so these situations don't happen but I guess that is what Wills are for. It would be nice if it became a law that every person must have a Will on file in every state. This would avoid all of the pain and suffering decendents/heirs go through when proper planning doesn't happen. I will keep your information in case I ever hear of someone needing your assistance in our state, New Jersey. I would happily refer you. Also, I love your quote: "One of my favorite quotes is one from Herman Melville in Billy Budd: "This here's not a court of justice, son. This here's a court of law." Sad but true." Thanks so very much for your time. I wish you every success in all future endeavors. Have a wonderful day Mr. Popovich Signed abandoned & disinherited in VA (Monick-NJ)

Prefer an answer to my question, not a critique in parenting.

I felt he gave me pointers on parenting as opposed to simply answering my question. His response seemed quite judgmental and not objective.

I would have to agree. Clients do not get whitewashed information from me and where I think I can help I do. Whether or not they like what I say. Some like this, some do not. If you don't want honesty (sometimes brutal honesty) you should not select me as your attorney.

An attorney who takes the time to explain things.

Mr. Popovich did not just provide advice, but took the time to explain the underlying law, laying out for me the options and potential outcomes of each. I greatly appreciated the thoroughness with which he treated my situation.
