I will begin by stating the my attorney Seymour Wasserstrum is the best attorney I have ever met. I am presently unemployed and searching for employment. Unable to make my credit cards payments , Presently on unemployment and have not as yet found a job. I prayed and asked for guidance. In my despe...ration and getting constant calls from my creditors . A higher power was at work when I decided to call my Attorney Seymour whom , I have not spoken or seen in over 2 years. My prayers were answered. I called the law office and got an appointment to see Seymour immediately. As usual he called me immediately adjusted his schedule and saw me immediately. After explaining my concerns anxiety He offered me great advised and in addition offered to send letters to my creditors and help me resolve my current situation with creditors without even charging me a attorney or office fee. How amazing is that. No attorney in today world has that type of compassion and understanding. I will always keep him as my attorney and recommend him to all . Thank you Seymour.

This was my second time using this attorney. I filed a chapter 7 and it was going smooth until I had a parent die and I became eligible for an inheritance. I was instructed to skip court dates and only address and pay creditors that sued me. The rest of them we were going to hide from and ren out th...e statue of limitations. Seymour mentioned he had a "friend" i could invest my money with and that when or if any creditors caught on that i didnt continue with the bankruptcy then we would settle with them. I didnt think this was good advice so tried to contact the Court Trustee appointed to my case but was denied talking with him because i already had representation. I did miss the first court date, but when trying to contact and visit the office i was told to come back or call back and upon doing so was again denied a meeting or talking to a lawyer. I showed up for my redcheduled court hearing and was ignored by the lawyer handling cases for the law firm, whom of which i talked to in his own office. As he was about to leave, i waited near the door of the trustees meeting room and asked the trustee if i was on the docket. I was and i pointed out that the lawyer present was my paid representation and for some reason ignored that i was present. My lawyer present wasnt happy when i told the trustee why i tried to contact him and what this firm advised i do since recieving an inheritance. The firm somehow removed themselves from being my counsel , without giving me a refund and tried to smear me saying i was acting as my own counsel in documents submitted to the court when i was only trying to contact a higher official in the courts because i knew the advice given by my hired lawfirm wasnt good advice. Polite and accomodating staff when the were taking my money but when i pointed out their bad advice and handling of my case, i was met with poor customer service and given the run around when trying to meet with a lawyer. RUN!

This office was very unprofessional. Our modification specialist ,Mary was a tiger. She aggressively fought for our interest. But midway through our modification she resigned. Her replacement was clueless. He made it clear that he was thrown into a possition to take over several clients and he was u...nfamiliar with them all. We completed our 3 month trial period successfully. I contacted him with concerns about proceeding. I specifically asked if we were expected to pay our fourth month and he confirmed what the mortgage company had said that no payment was due that month. Frantically he called 3 weeks later asking if we had made the June payment. We had no papers. No contact with our mortgage company. Here he had the paperwork and on the 5th of the month panicked because we did not even k ow that we were required to make a payment by the 1st. Which had past. Then he gave us a ridiculous monthly payment which he claimed included our taxes and insurance. It was so low we knew something was up. Upon going into the office on the last day to sign papers and accept the modification. We were not given any plan B's. Which we were originally with. Mary. Just sign and have a good life. The mortgage went to 40 years. The monthly payment had not included taxes or insurance as we thought and actually increased. No speaking on our behalf. No representing us. We could have done it ourselves with better results. And saved ourselves $2500.00 our experience in a word "scam". Keep your money

Seymour was a very nice man when I first met him. He remained nice throughout the whole process....however after the first meeting you only deal with his staff and rarely get to see him. The level of incompetence and the blatant disregard to keep you informed, none returning of phone calls, not mak...ing good on things that were promised, was mind blowing. I paid my money pretty quickly and was then taken to some paralegal who lost my file which delayed my filing for a month an a half. In the meantime wages were still being garnished, and the state of NJ was about to take my return until I called the office and flipped out. I found myself always having to call them because nothing was ever done right and I would hardly ever get returned phone calls. I even filed an ethical complaint on them but of course they didn't find an ethical problem because incompetence is not an ethical issue. The whole experience was a huge mess and there were others issues that came up...my best guess is that there are too many people working on your case who don't communicate. He had to have his senior paralegal quickly type up n file my case. This paralegal seemed to be the only competent one in the bunch. Hopefully this was just a fluke with my case but I'd never use them again if I were to ever need this type of legal guidance again...too many mess ups
