Upon meeting Charles Nugent for the first time, I vividly remember him making a “house call” back in February 2014 to my apartment. I had just been casted by the Lourdes Orthopedic team and my d...riving privileges were restricted. As a nurse, a right broken ankle seemed like the end of the world especially in the cold of winter. Charles Nugent is an incredibly knowledgeable and effective attorney. My wife and I were extremely pleased with how responsive he and his staff were to our questions, always answering our emails and phone calls promptly. While riding my bicycle I was involved in a serious accident with an automobile.... This resulted in a compressed fracture of my spine and numerous broken bones and abrasions requiring a hospital stay and an extended recovery period. Mr. Nugent had to deal with an insurance company known for being difficult in settling claims. Their initial offer was $100K, but with his experience and excellent negotiating skills he was able to reach a settlement of $800K without going to trial. Best decision I ever made was seeking the advice and help of Mr. Nugent and his competent staff!
