CASE CLOSED 12/2013

In June of 2013, I was on my way from MD to New York when I was arrested in NJ. I had a list of charges ranging from DWI to reckless driving. I hold a very high security clearance for the Federal government and cannot afford any blemishes on my record. I did a good deal of researching for good lawyer...s. I got with Peter Lederman. From the day I retained him; I spoke to him and he gave me a list of things to do from the start to properly equip, defend and prepare myself for the situation. He or his office kept in touch with me on a regular basis. I more so spoke to his executive assistances Jessica, and Maureen. Jessica made sure that we spoke on a regular basis and asked if I had any questions. I always received notice from Mr. Lederman's office prior to getting notices from the court. Living in MD it was very stressful to travel back and forth so Mr. Lederman made sure I did not need to appear in a NJ courtroom for over Christmas holidays. I finally had my court date late 2013. All but one charge were dismissed and I had a small fee to pay. I am very grateful to Mr. Lederman and his office. I would recommend him to ANYONE that wants a GOOD lawyer that is well experienced and knows what he is doing.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Short and Simple: I got charged with DUI, Refusal, Open Container and Speeding on June 8th 2013. I legitimately thought that I would go to court and fight it myself, being a pompous 24 year old, because of the circumstances of my case. After being advised by my friend and ex-DEA/ NJ Police veteran... not to do that, my wife found this guy: at first, I was skeptical because I'm skeptical with all lawyers, but after meeting with PHL I got a good vibe. He gave me a generous discount from the jump due to my age and convincing plea for help, and after deciding to take it all to trial to beat the case, we went to war. During the trial, Peter literally punched holes in the State Trooper's statements and defense like a hole-puncher, and all I had to do was sit tight. Even though the judge in the particular municipality I was in, not to mention the prosecutor, was tough on DUI, I could tell PHL was working his magic. Long story short, I got charged with speeding (4 Points) and an Open Container ($400 fine) and the DUI/REFUSAL BOTH GOT DROPPED!! That is unheard of. The moral of the story is this: If I, being a 24 year old kid who handled and paid this whole situation by myself (of course with my wife as well) could afford to pay PHL, so can you. You get what you pay for. Either way when you catch a case or a charge, its a loss; meaning if you don't fight it, you'll pay, and if you do fight, you will also pay. You might as well pay for the mistake upfront, especially with Peter because he will give the result you were looking for. If you do the math, I came up about 6 K on top. No $3 K fee, no IOP program, classes, community service, state surcharges, breathalyzer in the car etc... You get what you pay for

Best decision I've made.

Earlier this year I managed to find myself in the drunk tank at the local precinct, for a second time. Upon being released, and not to mention at a very low point in my life, i hired Mr. Lederman as my attorney. In hindsight, regardless of the outcome of the case (which was unbelievable), this was pr...obably the best decision I've made in a while. We discussed the many things that should be done to help the case, but as he said more importantly their to help myself. I was stubborn at the time, i didn't think i had a alcohol problem, but he made it quite clear that i did (indirectly). He said most people that get a DUI once learn they're lesson, you being here for a second time says something . Per his recommendations, i started attending AA meetings and counseling on a habitual basis. This helped the case a lot, but the goldmine of the case was Mr. Lederman's knowledge for DUI and traffic laws. Oh man, seeing him in a courtroom is something out of a movie, if not better; and not to mention the case did not even have to go to trial. As a second offender at the time i was looking at a 2 year license revocation, and not to mention the substantial DUI surcharge. I walked out of the courtroom with only a careless driving ticket. The judge said to me, " You understand your getting a second chance here, you should be thankful. and more importantly you should be thankful to your lawyer for doing a great job" his words not mine, in open court. As previously mentioned before regardless of the outcome, i thank Mr. Lederman for the help, I've been sober for almost a year now, healthier and happier than ever. THANKS!!!

josh a dui client

Mr. Lederman was a very knowledgeable and friend attorney. Through out the case him or his assistant kept me very well informed of what was going on, they walked me through every part of his investigation. They were also very friendly and worked with me on around my work schedule this way we couldmee...t at his office. Overall i walked away with alot less then i deserved if it wasnt for Mr.lederman and his vast knowledge of dui/dwi cases i would of been with out a license for an extremely long time. So for that i would like to thank him and Mrs. Wulton so much for helping me out. And if you or someone you know in the market for an attorney, i would highly recommend Mr. Peter Lederman

Miraculous

I do not know how to thank Mr. Lederman enough. I have had 2 previous DUI's. I got busted again here in NJ. I've been through the legal system before so I knew being convicted as a mulitple offender is exponentially worse. My case was not very defendable as I scored 3x the legal limit on my breat...h test. Mr. Lederman is an authority on impared driving law and from what I gather on the forefront of drinking and driving legistation. Mr. Lederman was able to argue that one of my convictions was out of state and somehow got the prosecution to agree to ask the judge to sentence me as a first time offender. I was looking at 10 years loss of license, $$$$ in fines, and jail time as a 3x offender but miraculously the judge sentenced me as a first time offender. I did not even receive the maximums for first offense. 10 months later I am driving again! Bravo Mr. Lederman thank you thank you thank you
