I wanna congradulate, Mr. Lederman on an sensational, oustanding, fantastic, amazing, superb, wonderful, and prfessional job today inregards to my second DUI... Its was the longest stressful 6 months i ever experienced in my life.. I do construction, im a union memebr and have been in the business f...or ten years now and one of your requirements is to have your license, without your license you can become a member if your in the process of getting them but for any reason they get suspeneded, you cud no longer become a member.. Today my livelihood was on the line, not knowing how i would be able to pay my mortgage, provide for my family, take care my bills etc etc, all sorts of crazy things was going through my head and by me having my Class A CDL, they were even harder on me, and will be on anyone else , who catch a dui/dwi and have cdl.. Two years suspension, 48 detox, 3k a year surcharge, penalties and fines, 16 sessions counselling and whatever else that came with it, my cdl, and endorsements all would have went up in flames after all the monies i done put into getting my license back in 2006, paying out of pocket for school to get my cdl and other endorsements.. With all this being said., with the HELP, the HARD WORK, the love and passion the he have for what he do and to help people, my livelihood was speared today and i received a second chance.. Mr. Lederman had a plan executed it and by all means if that didnt work, everytime we walked in court, bet your buns, he was ready for war.. My second dui and along with 5 other tickets a total of 6 tickets all together, Mr. Lederman was able to get all the tickets dismissed and had me plea guilty to just reckless driving, what a great job.. Was not convicted of second DUI! Thanks to the legal expertise of Mr. Peter Lederman and his very friendly staff, I was not found guilty of my second DUI offense within 10 years. The first time I received a DUI I was in shock that I had found myself in that kind of trouble. The second time, I felt t...he weight of the world crashing down on me because I knew the ramifications that were ahead of me. The arrest was on a Saturday and I called Peter Lederman the following Monday. We spoke on the phone and a few hours later I met him in his office. We sat and discussed what to do, and I left feeling confident that I would have a good outcome in court. Following the arrest, I spent a lot of time reflecting on what line of thinking brought me to driving a vehicle after drinking alcohol. Clearly, in all cases of a DUI charge, alcohol yields the brain from making good choices, however during this turbulent time I was able to discover other drivers that lead me to my uncharacteristic mistake and how to fix them. Of course, telling the judge that you learned your lesson (especially facing a 2nd charge) would not work in court. After the first meeting with Mr. Lederman, I had a bit of homework to do before our next meeting. I promptly did the things he asked me to do that would strengthen my case. Any time that I had questions or needed advice, I would call his office and speak to his always helpful and pleasant assistants who were there for me every step of the way. During the second meeting I brought to him all the documents he requested and we discussed our plan of attack. Mr. Lederman's vast knowledge and experience of dealing with DUI charges is clearly noticed while meeting with him. I also noticed his concern for me and for my ability to become a better person from this experience. Finally court had arrived and I felt very prepared and confident for a positive outcome. Courts are usually not very lenient on DUI charges, especially seconds. I was facing a mandatory two year license suspension, 16 weeks in IDRC classes, 48 consecutive hours in an IDRC center, possible jail, a breathalyzer interlock on my car for 1-3 years after my suspension, and of course fines. I also had a speeding ticket, failure to maintain lane ticket and a careless driving ticket. However, thanks to Mr. Lederman, I was only given a reckless driving ticket and a shorter license suspension. Mr. Lederman had developed many points of attack and so we used one, and it worked. I would certainly recommend Mr. Lederman to anyone who needs to get out of a DUI charge and who wants to discover a better person within themselves.
