Client Review

My daughter received a speeding ticket, her first, so we all were a bit nervous and had no idea how we were going to approach this serious matter. We knew that we needed someone knowledgeable and dedicated to cases like these. It was also imperative that my daughter be able to correspond with an att...orney who she could relate to and feel comfortable with. I called Louis Chapman’s office by way of referral and boy was I ever so glad I did. First, of all I was completely satisfied with how his entire office handled the case. They apprised me of everything including written and verbal communications regarding the case in a timely fashion, everyone in the office from the secretary to the clerks were highly professional and outstanding. I personally am a worrier and just overly concerned about everything, but I will tell you that I felt very comforted and relaxed the entire time they handled the case for us. In addition, the outcome was much to our satisfaction. Attorney Chapman my daughter and I thank you immensely for the committed work and time put into her case.

Review of Louis Benjamin Chapman

While the creation of a Will, Living Will and Power of Attorney may be straightforward, Mr. Chapman and his staff attended to the matter with a level of professionalism and attentiveness I felt would be reserved for more serious legal matters. Communications were prompt and pleasant, all commitments... were kept and my wife and I found the entire experience very positive. Should I ever need the services of an attorney in the future, I will not hesitate to call Mr. Chapman.

Fabulous Overall Experience

Louis represented me on both the sale of my old home as well as the concurrent purchase of my new home and he was simply amazing. I needed both the sale and purchase to happen on the same day in order to satisfy my bank’s funding requirements. Louis made it happen despite the unforeseen difficultie...s caused by the massive snowstorm of 2010. Louis helped a real estate novice, like myself, understand the process, while also making an extremely stressful and complicated situation manageable. He oversaw the entire process, always making himself available to me whenever I needed him, even going so far as to call me long distance while he was on vacation overseas. He even gave me his cellular phone number which not many attorneys will do!!! Louis's contacts and reputation within the North Jersey legal community also helped tremendously. His personal and business relationship with the two other lawyers involved in the process proved to be invaluable. The truth is a brief description of my closings sums up exactly what kind of lawyer and person Louis is. Our dual closings were scheduled for the Wednesday before Presidents Day 2010 which happened to be the day of a huge blizzard. Louis called me the night before the closing, offered to come to my house that night so my wife could sign all the papers so she wouldn't have to go out the next day if the kids were home from school. The next day, Louis convinced the other two attorneys to come in on a snow day, in the middle of a blizzard, and we were able to close on both properties. Even the buyer's mortgage bank was closed because of the snow and was unable to wire over the mortgage money that day! Don't ask how Louis managed to keep the closings on track, but he did.

Delivered on Desired Closing Date!

Louis did a great job of making sure my closing was done on the date promised. The mortgage company was having trouble getting all the paperwork done due to an error on their end, and he pushed them along reminding them that I was living out of a suitcase. Thankfully, we closed that day! He was ac...cessible via voicemail or email. Occasionally I was lucky enough to catch him on the phone directly. That is always tricky in today's fast paced world. I did have to ask for the HOA rules via email a few times prior to closing though, and that is where the 1 star deduction came from. Overall, if we were to hit rewind, I'd call him up again in an instant. Thumbs up!

Home Closing Services - Patient, responsive and calm .. would recommend !!

We hired Louis through the Hyatt legal plan offered by my spouse' company. We were looking for home contract review and closing services and Louis was very professional and courteous right from the start. He responded to emails late at night and patiently answered all our questions ( we had many as f...irst time home buyers! ). He also worked patiently with the seller's attorney to work out schedules and home inspection findings. He suggested alternatives when things were not going right and stayed true to being our lawyer and standing for our interests right till the end. Thanks a lot, Louis!!
