I participated in some in person group sessions with Brad and attended one of his webinars. While this was after my divorce was final, it was relevant to hear a different approach. During my divorce, as an accountant, we provided 100% accurate and honest information, while my wife was on the attack... with false accusations and twisted facts that made it impossible. My attorneys advised to stay the course and honesty would win out. Brad advised different that I needed to fight fire with fire, stop being nice and accommodating and get on the same level as the other side, so they could relate. Unfortunately, I met Brad too late for me.

For the past 5 months Mr. Brad handled a complicated FRO case for me in Union County Supreme court involving child custody, international relocation, and criminal allegations made by my soon to be ex-wife. When I went to him seeking an Order to Cause to stop my wife from absconding internationally with my child, his associate Rachel acted immediately and successfully stopped them from leaving and had the passport confiscated that same evening. (Mind you, his associate is as good as him in this category and so is his entire staff) These people get things done in minutes, not days or weeks. Patience: From start to finish, my dad and I have asked him 126 questions with permutations. Do the math, he answered all of it without ever loosing his cool. Cost: Can you set a price on your child? I have my daughter today because of his passion and dedication. No matter what you do in life, do it with passion.

Engaging Mr. Micklin to represent me was a terrible decision; he is the embodiment of all the things that make people view some lawyers in a bad light. Prior to my court date I spent a considerable amount of time providing him with the facts relevant to the hearing agenda (and was over billed for th...at time) but, when we appeared in court, Mr. Micklin was totally unprepared to argue my case. As a result he made an incredible and inexcusable error that caused a major setback to my position. His fees are exorbitant and his billing practices are questionable, bordering on unethical. I performed an Internet search and I found numerous posts/complaints about Mr. Micklin almost identical to mine. I have submitted formal complaints to the NJ Bar Association detailing Mr. Micklin’s incompetency and billing practices.

Mr. Micklin and his team were exceptionally resourceful in finding a solution to my very long standing problem. I had retained Brad initially in 2006 through 2007 and then again in 2011 as circumstances changed to address a dispute with my ex-wife relating to on-going support payments. The gap in t...ime was managed extremely well by Brad who quickly digested the then current circumstances and identified a strategy to address the matter. This was a very complex case that involved all levels of the judicial system in Somerset county. He had clean accurate files that allowed him to handle the history perfectly and educate the new judge on the bench as to the facts of the case. Ultimately, his (and his team’s) focus and perseverance on solving the problem, outside the noise of the defendant and her counsel, lead to winning positions in the Court and ultimately lead to a final and permanent settlement of all historical, current and future matters. I believe Brad and his team worked very effectively, removing emotion from the equation to facilitate this settlement. They never let my emotions of the matter disrupt their focus to the factual basis of the situation and worked toward a solution. Even when the opposing counsel demonstrated some behaviors that could be perceived as unethical they stayed the course and got the resolution we needed. Throughout the process I experienced financial challenges but I never felt their service level declined because I was delayed in making a payment. I NEVER felt like a billable hour client, Brad and his team were always available to take my call. The fact is I have a new life because of Brad and the team and I will be forever grateful for their service.
