Highly Qualified: Worth every penny

Before Rachel and I met, I had received my first DUI when I was only 18 years old. I hired an attorney, went to court, and started serving my sentence. I didn't know much about the process, or how it was going to truly affect my future endeavors. All I knew was that this was bad, and my life would so...on be turned upside down. Here we are six years later and reluctantly I received a second DUI. It was one thing to come back from the first one, but to climb out of the hole I had found myself in with the consequences of a second DUI seemed impossible. I was put in contact with Rachel's firm through a family friend, and I can honestly say that I couldn't be more grateful to have put my fate in her hands. Through her research and extensive knowledge of the law, Rachel was able to identify that my first DUI wasn't filed as an underage. She further explained that if she was able to reopen the case, and get the judge to change the conviction to an underage, by law my second DUI would be viewed as a first offense. At the time, I was completely down in the dumps so despite some of my family members hopefulness, I remained optimistic. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. When all was said and done, Rachel persevered and inevitably proved me wrong. She went above and beyond her limits to do whatever she could and was able to accomplish something that most attorney's aren't even willing to entertain. To this day I am still in disbelief, and couldn't be happier with her representation. It is by far one of the hardest things one has to go through in life, but if there is anyone that could lessen the blow while obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients, it's Rachel.

My DUI/Refusal Experiance

Rachel is a lawyer you can count on to fight hard for you. My case was a difficult one to say the least. I had a DUI, refusal and reckless driving. The standard penalty is 3 months for DUI and 7 months for refusal. My case was at the Hackensack court and the judge was showing no signs of letting ...me off the charges. Rachel got my reckless driving dismissed. She also saved me money by bypassing the trial and going straight to the appellate court. This gave me about 6 months more time to prepare myself for possibly losing my license. Last month Rachel fought hard for me in the appeal however the decision was not overturned. Overall I will have to be without my license for 5 ½ months which is much better than the 10 month alternative. Tough lesson learned for me but you can definitely count on Rachel to present an intelligent defense. Thank you Rachel for fighting for me.

DWI

Rachel Kugel has an exceptionally strong command of the law, rendering an unparalleled ability to represent her clients. She works with incredibly strong conviction, passion, dedication and diligence; her personal attention and acute focus clearly demonstrate her commitment to representing clients w...ith the highest standard of care and professional service. After an arrest for a DWI, the consequences if convicted would resonate through my own career, my children’s lives, and great financial loss for both me and my family. Other attorneys I had consulted with had suggested that I either plead guilty or try for a plea bargain. Rachel, on the other hand, recognized several subtle but potentially significant flaws in my case (not recognized by all other attorneys I had spoken to prior to Rachel), and went to great lengths to explain these to me - giving me the confidence to go to trial. I did just that. The District Attorney (prosecutor) was exceptionally strong with both evidence and persuasion, posing an incredible challenge. The 5-day trial was exhausting. Throughout the entire week, I had 100% confidence that I had the best representation available. Rachel was able to convince a 6-person jury that I was not guilty on 3 separate charges, and this was no slight feat. During every examination or cross-examination of witnesses, she was able to elicit every single detail - both large and small - to render reasonable doubt, ultimately providing me with an acquittal on all charges. Thank you, Rachel!!

Beat dui for the second time

over a year ago Rachel was able to get my dui in newark nj dismissed so when I found myself in the same predicament in passaic nj; I trusted her with my new case. My case was very lengthy with a very tough unpredictable judge who seemed to act more like a presecutor than judge. the officers didnt ...show up several court dates and the judge kept giving us new court dates , the flat fee that Rachel charges worked in my favor and Rachel showed up to every court day with the same fire and intesity to win my case. In the end I was found not guilty , even the Judge and the prosecution commended Rachel on she worked my case .
