I'll start by explaining how I met Counselor Weinstock... I had a terrible lapse in judgment while dealing with a personal crisis and was being charged with a DWI. This was my second in 9 years and I was looking at jailtime, a felony, and probation. The most devestating to my personal and profession...al career would be the jail time; 6 months. From the start the my case was at the least, near impossible to obtain the disposition of community service in leu of the jailtime I most desperately sought to avoid. I was not looking to shirk my debt for violating the law, just repay in a manner not crippling to my future. NO jailtime was reached. Without him, I would have been lost in the seemingly overwhelming legal system, or left wanting for a proper defender. Counselor Weinstock worked with me emotionaly, finacialy, and sincerely every step of my journey. We never thought a lawyer would be needed by our family; however, my son was arrested for aggravated dwi during his senior year of college. We had no idea about the process, and Michael drove out to our house to give us the picture of what he would be facing. One of the best decisions I have made in my adult life was to hire Michael for my drinking and driving incident. It was not looking good for me. I was drunk and I had side swiped a police car.
