Amazing, Sharp Attorney

Ms. Nerino represented me in a case regarding reckless driving. I learned of this firm from local friend, as I reside out of State. Ms. Nerino handled my case and got the ticket thrown out and the case was dismissed. She was very hands on and remained in contact with me throughout the entire c...ase and she even gave me her cell phone number. I was very pleased with her.

Mary Nerino - great attorney!

I was charged with possession of marijuana in December of 2016. I hired Ms. Mary Nerino as my attorney, and couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome! She gave me advice and suggestions to complete prior to my court date, and as a result, was able to get my case dropped! I would highly recom...mend her to anyone. This was my first charge, and Ms. Nerino was able to take care of me. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney!

Reduced Misdemeanor Reckless Driving to Lesser Charge

I was pulled over for speeding at a spot where the speed limit had just dropped, putting me at a speed above the limit where I could be (and was) charged with reckless driving. I was planning to represent myself in court and hope for a lesser charge, but then heard that in Fairfax County the prosecut...or won’t work with you without representation and that the judge won’t (or can’t) reduce the charge during trial. So about two weeks before my court date I hired Mary Nerino of Price Benowitz to represent me, and was glad that I did. Before the court date, Mary talked me through what I could expect. And it all went as she said that it would. I signed a Waiver of Appearance so that she could represent me on the day without me being present. The morning of the court date is when the prosecutor and judge are assigned and is the first opportunity for the defense attorney to speak to the officer, view the evidence, and speak to the assigned prosecutor about a possible reduction of the charge. At that point, Mary called me to present options. She got me a reduced charge (failure to obey a traffic sign) with a lesser fine and points, but she said she could also request a continuance and we could try again for a no point charge. I chose to take the deal. Mary was professional and responsive throughout the whole process. She listened to what I had to say, answered my questions, provided me with expert legal advice, and ultimately got me the result I wanted. I recommend her highly.

Reckless Driving Representation

I cannot thank Mary enough. Mary took on my case last minute and the first time we spoke was a few days before court. She even charged me reasonably - which was extremely generous seeing as it was on short notice. She was realistic, honest, and empathetic. Mary really knew what she was talking about ...when it came to steps to preparing and outcomes from specific judges and prosecutors had we tried the case with them. I was charged with reckless driving going an extremely high speed and Mary was able to have my charge dropped from reckless to improper control / driving. When we first went to court I was not fully prepared, but after continuing the case I was able to gather all the paperwork and community service Mary suggested, which ultimately helped me. She never sugar-coated anything and was prompt in her response time. She listened to my and my mother's concerns, despite how many times questions were repeated, and answered honestly. This was my first traffic offense and I was honestly a nervous wreck. Mary remained calm and spoke to me in a way that calmed me down. I would most definitely use Mary again - though I hope I will never need to! Definitely recommended by me and my family.

Mary Nerino is an Excellent Attorney!

On November 19, 2016, I made a bad decision that resulted in running afoul of the law (for an Intoxicated in Public charge), but the next day, I made the smartest decision I could in retaining the services of Mary Nerino of Price Benowitz. She was thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of the case ...I had to deal with, she walked me through the various possible players and scenarios of what the court date could entail, and she gave all my questions detailed and thoughtful replies. She even advised me to meet with her in person (in addition to the phone call we had) to confirm I felt good about moving forward. I was already convinced she was the right pick before we met in person, but our additional meeting only reaffirmed my decision. Mary provided me a detailed plan to follow in order to put my best foot forward for my court date, and she was there to answer my questions and confirm we were on the right track along the way. On the day of my court date, she was there waiting for me and already in the process of taking care of everything, providing me with status updates in her discussions with the Police Officer and Prosecutor along the way. In the end, she secured an agreement to have my charge dropped, and she’s also helping me with the process of expunging my record of this charge and arrest when eligible. No one wants to be on the wrong side of the law, but if you’re ever in that unenviable situation, Mary Nerino is the best partner to have for getting you through it successfully!
