Excellent Immigrant Lawyer

Ms. Stock is an expert on immigrant law and especially military related issue. I had Ms. Stock as my asylum lawyer, she helped a lot on case and interview preparation. She is also very knowledgeable. Very professional & careful. Best choice for my case

After failing trying on my own and hiring another attorney, I made the best decision to contact Attorney Stock through Avvo. It definitely took a bit longer than I would have wanted but since the start she understood my case (as it was a bit tangled) and helped me finally get my US Passport issued. N...o doubt I would recommend her buffet to anyone, very professional and resolutive.

Best Military Naturalization Attorney You Should Never Miss

I am a MAVNI soldier that stuck on US naturalization for almost 5 years. After meeting Margaret D. Stock in Jan 2020, everything changed. I have got tons of help from Madam Stock and my naturalization case has been processed by USCIS after I met her only 1 month. Professional, detail oriented, VERY caring understanding

Words cannot describe how amazing Margaret is. First off, she’s excellent at what she does. My very first encounter with her was through a Skype consultation. Believe me, I thought the Skype call wouldn’t mean much, based on my past experiences with criminal defense attorneys. For anyone who’s had to... deal with lawyers, most of them who do phone call consultations rarely keep track of their clients’s cases. They make you recount your story all over again, barely interact with you when you have questions, sometimes ignore you when you dial their digits and seldom(In my case never) reply to clients’ emails. Sometimes, the clients aren’t even aware of what’s going on with their case and only have to find out when they get to court before a DA or the judge, and that’s either during an arraignment, a trial or plea agreement. Some attorneys even show up late to your own court case, if that says anything. Yeah, that’s how untrusting I was of attorneys. I can attest that Margaret IS different. She truly cares, is genuine, and very professional. She doesn’t care about money. She pays attention to every Minute detail of your case, even the details you didn’t think mattered or forgot you told her two years prior. Yeah, that shocked me, too. Her para-legal team was very calm, patient, professional and friendly. They worked on my case incessantly from the moment I hired Margaret right up to the time my case was complete. I just wanna say a huge thank you to the wonderful team at Cascadia Cross-Border Law Firm. Even while I was deployed, they never stopped working. The esprit de corps energy was very apparent and palpable. I remember asking many questions pertaining to my case and when the para-legal didn’t know the answers, they always deferred to Margaret’s superior knowledge. They would get back to me Promptly with the answers I needed. There’s not a single time that I felt ignored or my questions unanswered. I was always aware of what was going on with my case, right up to filing, my interview with USCIS, oath ceremony, and beyond. At my Naturalization interview, Margaret truly vouched for me. She was an incredible advocate. Never before had I seen a fierce fighter in an attorney like I did in Margaret on that day. But for that to be possible, the client must be honest and willing to be vulnerable, though. She was blunt. Didn’t mince words. Never belittling or condescending. If she felt something was a little off, she’d tell you. I don’t know about you reading this, but that’s the type of person I want as an attorney. And in spite of that, Margaret didn’t judge. She didn’t care that my past was crappy or nutty. She saw me as a whole person and not just a paycheck, and treated me as such, even before the immigration officer(IO). She knows the law to her fingertips and argued for why my petition deserved to be approved before the officer. I felt like my IO was a little brash and when I told Margaret, she said smiled and told me that it was nothing lol. At the end of the day, I think her experiences with people of different cultures gives her an upper edge as far as understanding human interaction, cultural differences, and behavioral patterns. There’s no doubt that I needed a lawyer for my case, and I absolutely have no regrets that I hired her. She’s the type of loyal immigration lawyer you want at all times, trust me. I’m forever indebted to Margaret for changing my life.

Never Regret Hiring Magic Stock

I am a MAVNI immigrant soldier serving in the U.S. Army Reserve. Many of us were abruptly discharged in the middle of the process. I hired Margaret as my attorney and my warrior to defend me and seek for justice, against DOD and USCIS. I never thought justice could be brought back in a timely and sat...isfactory manner because we were fighting two Giants of bureaucracy. There were many times I wanted to give up and close my case so I can go back to my home country to accept the fate of education camp; yet Margaret said no and kept letting me know there is faith in the constitution and our adjudication system. After a long fight by Attorney Stock and her law firm, I became a US citizen today. I want to admit the only thing I did right within the past four years is choosing Margaret as my attorney. Every penny I spent on my case will be returned hundreds times more in the future, because becoming a citizen indeed opens the door for me to be fortune both financially and intellectually. Through the journey, I gained a lot besides winning the case itself. I obtained leadership, communication skills with various people, standing up for myself, patience and self confidence etc. These valuable merits will certainly equip me during my further journey as a US citizen, even though Margaret may not know how much she could influence me subtly.
