I had filed for SSDI benefits back in 2017. I hadn’t seen any developments in my case for such a long period of time, so I decided to hire Attorney Schwab in Oct. 2018. First thing I noticed was he took the time to discuss my case as if I was her only client, & that he took all the time in the world ...to go over my case, as if I was a friend or family member. I believe not even 2 weeks had gone by since I chose Attorney Schwab to represent me that I finally began to receive constant documents from the SSA & that my case was finally moving along. If I had any questions about any new developments, his assistant would answer my calls immediately or shortly after leaving a message. Simply did not do what was hired to do. I usally only heard from him or staff when a deadline was near then they would start demanding documents/info which they should've already had (& some things they did). Otherwise I was mostly left in the dark to wonder hoping my case was in capable hands. He ma...de decisions and changes without consulting me. Beware of the contract read before you consider signing it as I recall it protects him to do as he wishes without your permission and in my experience he will. You may agree with him in the beginning but if he decides to change things about your case later on then your stuck. Appoinment/s were shcheuled for me without my knowledge which I was not even available for if I had not discovered this and spoken up to cancel it would've appeared as if Ihad just not shown up which would've been bad for my character and case. Possibly well meaning but talks a big talk, calm and charismatic as if he and his staff are equipped to handle things but this was certainly not my experience.
