Elizabeth Got it Done

Elizabeth’s legal office was the fourth law firm that I worked with over the course of nearly 4 years to settle what should have been a simple property equity buy-out that morphed into something more complex and acrimonious than most divorce settlements. Each time I laid out the facts of the case, ea...ch attorney I spoke with responded: “this should be simple, straight forward and easy to resolve.” Over time each one discovered that “simple” and “easy” were much less accessible than they should have been. Elizabeth and her team were able to navigate the many hurdles, curve balls, and attempts to derail that opposing continuously threw at us, and got the case settled in a way that was ethical, fair, and maintained our integrity and decency. She was able to effectively maneuver to settlement and avoid a costly trial that, at some points, seemed all but inevitable. Elizabeth and her team were always well prepared, thoughtful, compassionate, and able to cut through all of the noise to focus on the issues that were actually important. She helped to guide and maneuver me to be appropriately positioned at key times. Her knowledge, preparation, and candor helped me to feel confident in our path forward. With prior attorneys, I felt like I had to drive to keep them focused on my case and progressing. With Elizabeth, I was confident with her in the driver’s seat. The process was difficult, emotional, and exhausting, and having her and her team on my side made it navigable. From the start, when I hired her, I immediately felt a greater sense of ease and confidence that she could get it done than I had with prior representatives, and she proved that feeling right. Her services are expensive, but this is truly a case where you get what you pay for. I have great appreciation for Elizabeth and her team, and while I hope to never need to hire her again, if I did need her services there is no doubt that she would be my first choice.

Highly recommend

I hired the Elizabeth Christy Law Firm for my divorce, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. My divorce took over 2 years. Elizabeth and her team fought hard for me, and the children's best interest. Sarah was my paralegal, and my main point of contact throughout the whole process. ... I cannot express enough how wonderful Sarah was. Her knowledge, guidance, direction, and reassurance throughout the most challenging event of my life was invaluable. She was always available to me, and always in lockstep with Elizabeth. I trusted them every step of the way, and I'm so glad I did. Watching Elizabeth in action is something to behold. She is incredibly smart, and very good at what she does. She knew all the ins and outs of my case, the details, my goals, and presented them wonderfully. Would not want to go into a legal battle without her.

I hired Liz in the summer of 2024 to help me with my divorce. I only had her reviews to go by before hiring her. To make a long story short my divorce was almost 2 years of absolute chaos and misery. In that span we were in court over a dozen times due to my ex being overly litigious, filing false ...accusations, baseless motions, and or not providing the information she was supposed to. As the other side disparaged me with falsehoods and accusations Liz and her stellar team stayed true to the law and professional. When I wanted to fight back against the lies Liz kept me steadfast and continued to use the law to defend me. Out of the dozen or so times we were in court we won all but once. The time we lost was more of the judge's hands being tied so a ruling didn't go our way. I learned to trust Liz and her strategy. Her team worked tirelessly to build a case that was bulletproof. My ex lied about her income, lied about me, trying to tell a story that Liz chewed apart. Liz and team stuck to the facts that she was able to prove. There were points where I didn't think I could continue with the fight but was comforted by the fact that my team was working their tails off to build my case. They were very diligent with keeping me on task and providing the hundreds of documents each and every month to make sure we were following the law. One of the most important things Liz and her team did was get to know me. I felt like I had a group of allies that were truly fighting not only to secure my financial future but protect my integrity. As the opposing counsel used gimmicks and side show tactics Liz remained poised. Every time we were in court I was proud to have her fighting for me. One of the most memorable and critical tactics Liz had in her tool chest was using my exes own financial documents against her when we finally had our day (or 3 days) in court. She walked my ex into a corner that nobody in the room knew Liz was walking her into and it would turn out to be the final nail in her coffin. My ex was asking for everything. At the end the judge's ruling matched Liz's offer almost to a T. I cannot say enough about Liz and her team (Carol, Sarah, Gloria, Veronica) were so empathetic, professional, had working, and truly protectors for me. Knowing that they were not just there for a paycheck but to truly fight for me is what got me through the very long and horrific battle. At the end she was able to assure that I will not be financially ruined for the rest of my life. Liz is a warrior and an extremely savvy and strategic attorney. I'm glad she was on my side and not my opposing counsel.

Excellent Outcome

Ms. Christy and her team were quick, knowledgeable and available for all of my questions throughout the process. I appreciated their expertise to close my case quickly with a great outcome. Would recommend to others needing a divorce attorney.
