Best decision I made
I hired Mr. Groves later in my case and needed an attorney who could act quickly, spend quality time and respond to my questions in a timely manner. Travis was hired on a Saturday and went to work the following Sunday morning on my case because it was so time sensitive. I was extremely impressed by h...
One of the best written reviews I have received and it is much appreciated. This was a matter that required quite a bit of tenacity and follow-through. I was blessed to have a client who was able to keep pace with events as they occurred and made decisive determinations on the proper action to take after consultation. Credit must go to the client for knowing what she wanted and keeping my office on task and focused to achieve her goals. The matter was a challenging, at times frustrating, but rewarding experience that reminded me like few other cases have why I wouldn't want to practice any other type of law.

No counter.
Even though the spousal maintenance was a hard sell to begin with, I feel that when we did go to court the defense could have been more vigorous. Opposing counsel was allowed to frame the discussion and used false information that was not countered. I felt like addressing the court but bit my tongue...
While it hurts my ego to have someone who was not satisfied; we were able to obtain maintenance for our male client in a short-term marriage. Great lengths were made to explain the cost/benefit of proceeding on such an admittedly "hard sell" and the decision was made to pursue the claim. The recovery, which included attorney fees, did cover the expense and then some, but the length of the reward for maintenance was disappointing; but within the framework of possibilities discussed and was at the discretion of the court. OC did throw out a lot of BS, but it was all countered or more harm than good to their position. None of their arguments were considered by the court for any safety issues alleged. From the beginning this was a case where the cost/benefit of going to trial was not favorable and I wouldn't take it to trial. I am disappointed there was a loss of faith due to a ruling that was not a "home run", but the results were favorable and our work on behalf of the client exhaustive.

Caring, compassionate, justice seeking individual.
Mr.Groves is an exceptional attorney. My case involved child custody along with divorce. With me living in California, Mr.Groves had his work cut out for him with my case. Nether the less he refused to give up on my case, even with all odds against us. He is a very caring, compassionate, justice see...
Another example of the "Truth Will Out"! This matter turned out to be a 5-day trial that became such a struggle because of the GAL's wrong first impression. It was a shame to have to bring the case to trial, but it was necessary to do so to bring the truth to light. The client is correct that I sunk my teeth-in and didn't give-up, but she should also be credited with keeping her hopes up and believing along with me the Truth Will Out!

Trial Round Two
I wrote a review previously about Travis helping me win my case. After the hearing Travis told me that although we won at the moment, there was always a chance that my ex could try and get the verdict overturned and we would then be thrust back into another battle. Well that is exactly what happened....
