I am a Veteran, but not just any Vet. Throughout the Vietnam War, there were 31 pairs of brothers who served in Vietnam at the same time. But there were only one set of 3 brothers who not only served together but all 3 were combat wounded. The oldest in buried with other Marines in the Philippines. T...he middle brother is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, and I am the youngest I turned 19 in December, 1968 on a recon mission for 25th Inf DIV. The following year I was a squad leader with 1st Cavalry Div and the following year with the 101st Airborne Di. 4 consecutive birthdays in Vietnam. With the. End of a 5 year marriage, Karen Unger to get $50k spousal support. All she had to do was flagerntly violate the both my Civil Rights as well as my Constitutional rights, slander my name with bull s__t lies, insult my military service. So if you are guilty as sin amd are looking for an attorney who knows enough about the law to make a mockery of justice, look no further. Karen Unger is the pile of crap you are looking for.

I told Mrs. Unger about my charges and she was beyond pissed saying I was treated unfairly and illegally and even went on to say that she will sue the city for what happened to me. I did not need her to sue the city but I understood that she/I had the right to. I just wanted to get my case dismissed ...which should have been pretty easy. I paid her the fee upfront and had my first, second and perhaps final day in front of the judge, non of which she showed up for. I had no representation whatsoever from Mrs Unger, the judge instead decided to defer my case for a year pending I have no new charges . So I waited the year and my charges just dropped off. This was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent!

So, back in 2020, I found out through my 7-year-old daughter that she had been molested by her 50-year-old next-door-neighbor, whom her father has had let her be babysat by said neighbor since we split up. Her father never said a word to me about it for three months. I hired Karen Unger for a $300...0 retainer to help me sort stuff out with my daughter's father, since in my opinion, he had been extremely neglectful in his duty to tell me, her mother, let alone the police. Karen filed the documents she had deemed necessary for our case. The judge declined them, Karen emailed me as such, and I asked her (through the same email) what steps she would recommend going forward. She never responded. I really don't feel like a few pieces of paperwork turned in to the court should cost $3000. Like, I could have done that for free for myself. I feel not only cheated financially, but cheated from the perspective of my (at the time) 7-year-old child who had things done to her that no one, especially a *CHILD* should ever experience. She was a terrible lawyer to me and my daughter, and as much as I admired her at first for her drive, I would never hire another lawyer literally ever again, because of this and a quite a few other experiences.

I contacted Karen Unger's office to inquire about hiring a lawyer to get a restraining order. I talked to Lori, dont know what her position is. She said I could just do it myself at the courthouse. I said I knew that but was told by a lawyer in another county that I might want to use a lawyer to keep... certain info private. She got really condecsending and said "that's ridiculous, who told you that? You can't just file a restraining order without the judge or the accused knowing why." I said I'm not trying to hide it from the judge, I just don't want the sensitive info public. She then said, " Oh come on! Do you really think someone will just go through your files and read them?" Her voice was loud and treated me like I was an idiot, almost laughing at me. I'm not a lawyer, I was just inquiring because of advise I got. I don't need to be treated this way and will never call this law office again.
