I hired Andrew Kim for a very simple Child support Modification. He requested a $2k retainer. I did all of the work of getting my Ex's pay stubs and W2's. I emailed him everything, he filled out the worksheet and submitted it to court ONLINE. This process should have taken a couple weeks however he ...continued to stall. His response time was extremely slow, his voice mail box was always full and he clearly either didn't have time for my simple case or just didn't care. I was constantly emailing him asking for the status in which he billed me for these emails. Once he submitted it to the court it took 2 days, so all these delays had nothing to do with the courts and all to do with him. Once it was completed, and again I had to ask for the final papers because he hadn't sent them to me (he billed me for this email too) , I asked for a final invoice and money returned only to be ignored. After 3 weeks and probably 6+ emails to him I contacted the WA state bar and they got in touch with him, I heard from him the very next day. He would have probably completely written me off had they not got in contact with him. He sent over an invoice 2 weeks later and only returned $271 of my $2k that I gave him for a job that probably only took him 2-3 hours at most, he charged me $298 an hr. I DO NOT recommend Andrew Kim. I've dealt with a few attorneys in my life and he was by far the worst!!! Jessica

Honestly I feel like he failed me, he didn’t fight for me. I paid him to represent me and instead he just filed the papers and agreed to basically everything the other person wanted. This was for a parenting plan. Out of all the things I wanted included I got nothing except the other party having eve...ry other Sunday instead of every Sunday. He failed me and I should be refunded for his lack of help. He also didn’t send me the papers until middle of June when I needed them sooner as we needed to pick our 2 week summers by the end of May. I spent money on something I could have done myself… filing my papers. Do not go to Andrew Kim for a family law attorney because he won’t fight for you, he’ll side with the other party acting as if he’s fighting for you. When you hire someone you expect them to be there for YOU and do as much as they can for you to help you in getting what you asked for and that did not happen here. If I have to go through this again I will not ever go to Andrew again as my money will simply just be stolen and not used for the intentions at hand.

I spend a lot of time looking for answers ( many questions answers ) using AVOO because in real NY state lawyers keep big secrets with anything doesn't matter how hard you try to get help. I could not believe Mr. Andrew Y. Kim answered many of my questions and forwarded me.... Thanks to him I found the way of fixing my problem ... and for free. This days having Obama care and paying to my divorce attorney in NY state I lost health insurance for over 6 month suffering Systemic scleroses disease. I feel so bad that the only my pay for Mr.Andrew help is just Thank You. The best attorney in the world. Wish he would be in NY state.
