When I called Julia I did not know what to expect. I was being charged with my foruth DUI facing prison time and a felony conviction. Julia did not sweet talk me like other attorneys to hype my hopes and follow through with little results. Instead she told me, "this is what it is, this is what is goi...ng to happen and this is what I can do." There was something inside me that snapped when she told me this and I knew right away she was the real deal. She kept me out of prison, made a deal to reduce my felony to a misdemeanor and somehow finds the patience to still deal with me. Ms. Simmons took on my case about a year ago for my DUI. She was able to file a motion in court that they had never seen before. MS. Simmons never gave on me and my case and through her dedication and hard work she was able to get it dismissed by the court and have me on a 36 month diversion program.... I am so greatly thankful that I chose to hire her any other lawyer would have just handled this case like any other DUI case. Her staff may come off a bit forward but trust me it is all for the better of the case and the client. I was found in the unfortunate predicsment of my first dui with a blood reading of .16 and also a major speeding ticket. Every other lawyer had told me that due to the speeding I was looking ...at a mandatory sentence of 60 days since it would be an enhancement. Not only did her office assure me that they can get it taken care of, I didn't even get a speeding ticket or jail time. I couldn't be happier.

Ms. Simmons was outstanding in resolving our case. She took on our case after a guilty verdict and poor work from a previous lawyer. After being sent to jail and there seemed to be no hope, Ms. Simmons was able to file a motion with the court, find cases that had precedent, convince the court that ou...r case needed to be dismissed and ultimately got our case resolved and out of jail.
