When I walked out to my car to head to work that morning, I had no clue how fast and extreme my life would change when the detective approached my vehicle and asked my name, and asked if I knew a person by their name, and then said she had accused me of sexual assault. And as the detective described ...me in his report, I was in apparent shock. I will not go into specifics about the case, but what I will say is I previously evoked the help of an attorney for help prior to reaching out to Brad Meryhew. As my world was completely flipped upside down I had no idea what was going to happen. I was falsely accused of a sexual crime I didn't commit. I was looking at the rest of my natural life in prison. I am a veteran teacher who was falsely accused of three counts of rape in the third degree. As a mother, a professional and a community member I was devastated and in complete shock. I know he was certain of the outcome but he would not allow his confidence to impact his professionalism. Brad devises a plan of action, has a strategy, and works tirelessly to defend his clients. He saved my life. The verdict was a unanimous NOT guilty after 1 day of deliberation. I am innocent and have been the entire time but Brad was the one who was able to secure the verdict.
