I was in a bicycle accident in October of 2013 involving two cars; I was thrown from my bike and struck a moving vehicle, breaking my left hip and bruising my ribs. This was just a week after a close friend of mine was in a serious car wreck on the freeway. My friend recommended Paul to me, as she ...was receiving excellent care from him. I met Paul shortly after I was let out of the hospital, and by the end of that first meeting I knew I was in the best hands I could be. Paul assured me that his goal and purpose was to focus on getting me back to health, first and foremost. Before proceeding with any legal matters he recommended me to Kinetic Sports Rehab in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. He told me that their care would be what I needed, as I had just registered to run my first Boston Marathon the following year in April of 2014. My primary concern at this point was healing my injuries, and my second concern was getting back into shape to run the race. Paul shared my concerns and guaranteed that Kinetic Sports would take care of me. Again and again he stressed that he hoped to help me get back into "as good," if not better, condition than before. All other legal matters and settlement concerns, he said, came behind that. For him it was much better to have his clients recover fully and completely, than to push getting a high settlement but still be in pain or functioning at a lower level than prior to their accident. This consistence reassurance really put me at ease, since I was hoping to recover enough to return to marathon running!
Through our entire case, Paul Veillon has been nothing but stellar. I never doubted his sincerity, as he was true to his promise to the end and fulfilled it faithfully and effectively. He has been nothing short of extraordinary: helpful, informative, communicative, open, supportive, honest, and quick. He has worked hard at this case, and has never once failed to get back to me quickly, and has never failed to answer questions in all the detail that's needed. As this accident was the first time I became involved in any legal issue, I had many questions about potential litigation and having my case go to trial. I didn't know what any of this would entail, but Paul answered all of my questions with forthrightness and great clarity and put my doubts at rest.
I am incredibly impressed with Paul. I wouldn't say I'm grateful for my accident, but to be completely honest the care and the rehab services I received because of Paul have put me in a stronger, more confident place than I've ever been in my life. I am glad to know that there are people like Paul who care for clients so personally. As Paul reiterated over and over again, his focus on putting me back together physically is something that I will be forever grateful for. Without his assurance and his suggestions (such as Kinetic Sports Rehab), I have no idea where I'd be--but I doubt I would have even made it to Boston last year, let alone run a personal best! Thanks to Paul, I am now preparing to return to Boston again this year!
I don't want to sound cliche or overly sentimental, but with every mile I run, I can thank Paul and the excellent care he provided me. All I can say is, you have turned me around and put me back on my feet -- faster than I ever thought!
