Out of State Situation Resolved.

Early in 2015 my wife and I had to seek out a lawyer for a personal injury that we both endured. After doing a somewhat lengthy google search we found Richard Rizk as a potential candidate to be our personal lawyer. He seemed to be the right fit for our case and with time and now closure we are fort...unate to have had him for our case. Our scenario was unique in the sense that we lived out of state but had to file suit in Oregon. Richard and his law office scheduled meetings that revolved around on our schedule and not necessarily his. Again, our situation sometimes required that we go to Portland to meet with Richard and he seemed very flexible in making certain that his schedule fit our schedule. In the early phases he gave us homework that revolved around getting necessary documents, videos, pictures, etc that would help contribute to our case. At times, our communication was challenging due to the distance but Richard would always keep in touch with us and arrange meetings either in person, over the phone or through email to keep us in the loop. He would give advice on how to proceed but always left the decision making up to us without any pressure from him. Often the case, our decisions were already made and Richard just reaffirmed them. As the case began to take form in the latter portion, we had depositions by the other lawyer team and Richard gave us the necessary feedback before, during and after the depositions. I personally would never wish depositions upon anyone because they are grueling, stress filled Q and A at the highest level. However, with Richard in the room we felt as though he would make certain that the deposition was fair, make objections when necessary and call anyone out that was taking things too far. In the end, we got a settlement that seemed fair and that my wife and I were comfortable with. Richard and his team did a great job throughout the whole process and we feel lucky to have had him throughout our legal matter.

Informative

My family and I were in a car accident earlier this year and we really needed some advice since we've never been in this situation before. Richard was helpful by listening, he went through all the scenarios on how it could play out. Unfortunately, our incident is a bit complex and his honesty is m...uch appreciated because in the end he had our best interest at heart. Thank you!

Powerful Team

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Attorney Richard Rizk and paralegal Don Nash for their tremendous work on a complex and challenging array of cases. I initially met Richard in the summer of 2011 after I had been involved in an on-the-job, no fault auto accident. As we neared close to se...ttling the case, I was involved in a second and then a third on-the-job, no fault auto accident. Each time I was hit, my injuries worsened and my self-worth deteriorated. I was attacked by a Clackamas county k9 unit

The first day I met Richard I was confined to bed and not in a compenet mind, due to pain pills. Richard was always very professional through a two year process. He knew exactly when to contact the sheriff's. Office and how much to counter offer when we were attempting to settle the claim. I would ...highly recommend him. He is very trustworthy and cares for each client as though they are the only one.Richards entire staff is excellent and fun to work with. Thank you Richard for all your help

Richard did the job!

Thank goodness I had long term disability insurance thru my employer. I was struck out of the blue with a condition that nearly left me fully paralyzed. The monthly insurance payment helped us thru some tough money times. Then, after two years, our LTD informed us by letter that my claim was now ...denied due to reasons in the fine print of the policy. Yes, just like this I was arbitrarily and hypothetically denied further payments! And it can happen to you... At this point my wife and I found that the private LTD system is completely rigged in favor of the companies. At the bottom of this are the ERISA laws that make it nearly impossible to fight the insurance companies, and this is when most people give up. The insurance companies go away with your premiums, and you lose income that may be rightfully due. Just what the greedy companies want! Hard working people should not be left out to dry just because of a disability! Well we shopped around and found someone that was actually on our side. Richard Rizk, Attorney at Law. Trust me, Richard is a person that can take on the insurance company and win. Richard understands how ERISA works having been a lawyer in this field for over 20 years. It takes an experienced caring lawyer to get thru this intentionally complicated quagmire of LTD law and Richard is your best choice! I fully recommend Richard as he cared about how we felt, he understood the difficulty the denial was creating, but mostly, he understands the injustice of the laws written that favor the insurance companies.
