HE SPOKE WITH SUCH POWER AND INTEGRITY HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS... HE TREATED ME LIKE I WAS TOP PRIORITY !!! HE GAVE ME INFORMATION IN MOMENTS T...HAT I HAD BEEN SEEKING FOR WEEKS ..MR. ABBOTT GAVE ME A VERY IMPORTANT FEELING THAT IN SPEAKING WITH ALL THE OTHER ATTORNEYS - I HAD LOST.. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.. I WOULD RECOMMEND MR. GREGORY ABBOTT - HE IS HONORABLE AND HE KNOWS THE LAW!! In early Fall of 2015 we had a dispute with a tenant over payment of rent and rat infestation in the crawlspace that was handled very timely. The tenant got a lawyer to send us threatening letters and refused to pay rent which was hugely stressful. I did a bunch of research to find someone who had a ...lot of experience and skills at handling Landlord/Tenant Law. Greg’s reviews seemed frank and honest and I am very glad we chose him as our attorney. It took a couple of months and the tenant pulled out all the stops in fighting us, but we were able to evict the tenant and get a judgment. Greg was always calm and explained things in detail so we could make educated decisions. His experience with the courts and more importantly with the human element of the conflict in these situations is really invaluable. He gave us good advice and I’m glad we took it. One thing that struck me as a client is that he loves practicing law and loves advocating for his clients. Always a good thing in the lawyer you are hiring! We will definitely use him again if we need an attorney, and we will recommend him to our friends.

Landlord-tenant issues. Greg knew the law. He gave me great advice. He met me after my work hours which was really helpful. While the law in Oregon tends to favor the tenant, Greg kept me on the 'good side' of the law, advised me what and what not to do. I would totally recommend Greg, and would... use him again (hopefully I won't have to).

Greg was very thorough and prompt with his response to my legal tenant lanlord law inquiry. He then followed up with a recommendation to my particular situation. For someone to be so generous of their time and expertise for no financial gain says alot to this mans character. As novice landlord trying to navigate the statutes alone is a very daunting task at best. In my case I thought I had dotted my i's and crossed my t's only to discover, after my tenants hired an attorney, that I misread a portion of my lease agreement. After being contacted by my tenants attorney. ...Mr. Abbott reviewed my documents and educated me on several items both with my lease agreement and the landlord tenant law itself. I quickly discovered that Mr. Abbott takes pride in not only advising you on what you CAN do in a particular circumstance, but also what may be more appropriate. His experience with the legal process is invaluable as he has see so many different cases and scenarios, that I felt very confident each step of the way. While I had made stumbles in the beginning, he was able to correct my course and I was able to get possession back and move on. I feel that Greg was more than fair with regard to his billing of time. A point I would like also mention is his work and time. Greg works later in the day which is really nice, because I was able to avoid missing work during the day to meet with him, we were able to meet at night. I was impressed with the depth of detail he was able to provide me on several issues and really just can not say enough for his commitment to provide proper details so you can make an educated decision. Something, I can tell you that my tenants attorney did not feel was necessary for them. If you are in need of legal advice or counsel from either the position of landlord or tenant, I dont believe you could find a better advocate than Mr. Abbott. He will be fair. He will be honest, but most of all he will have your best interests in mind.
