After having a false, made-up restraining order filed against me that was upheld because I am on full disability, and could not afford an attorney, the Judge would not look at my evidence or hear my witnesses. I then received a notice saying I had violated the restraining order a few months later. I ...called attorneys for a week straight trying to find someone that would help me, as I was afraid to go to court alone after having already been railroaded once! I did not know what it was even over, as I had not violated the restraining order. No one would help me because I did not have enough for a retainer; I didn't qualify for the low income assistance.
