Exceptionally talented /knowledgeable immigration lawyer

I am in debt of Mr. Daniel Shanfield for saving my naturalization application /citizenship.I had lost all the hopes of getting my citizenship before i met Daniel .As soon as i met him i knew he is extremely talented immigration lawyer .I was impressed the way he handled my case .Attentions to details... ,consistent follow up with the client(extremely important for piece of mind) and application of mind (heart and soul) to reasearch/investigate different options .Also he is extremely honest to his client by throwing all the possible options onto the table and different strategy to fight all odds.Bottomline he is fair with the client at the same time aggresive to fight for you ..He is more than willing to work with other criminal lawyers if needed for the case..Lastly his staff is very helpful and caring ...I finally successfully got my citizenship and i owe Daniel big time ...Thanks a lot Daniel and your staff...I wish you good luck

Excellent service, very knowledgeable, recommend without hesitation

We were recommended to Daniel by the Mexican Consulate in San Jose. My stepdaughter, who had a green card, was about to be deported. We found Daniel to be responsive, organized and professional. He explained the various options, what was likely to happen at each stage and how we should address the is...sues. Throughout he was meticulous and thorough. Just as important he was empathetic to our situation and understood the stress we were under, his reassuring manner was much appreciated. He also showed professionalism and preparedness in court and established a rapport with the immigration judge that I believe helped enormously in the eventual successful disposition of the case. A minor issue occurred where we felt he could have briefed us more thoroughly - we had never been to a detention center before and were unaware that common objects such as a belt or watch were forbidden, this combined with an obnoxious security guard led to a lot of stress as we tried to gain admission into the hearing. Overall we were very satisfied with his service and would recommend him unreservedly

My citizenship, finally!

Daniel was a total lifesaver on my citizenship application! I thought my case was easy, but Daniel warned me that there could be issues at my INS interview because of my past divorce and custody arrangement. Daniel knew what documents I needed to take to the INS interview, even though the applicati...on instructions didn’t ask for it. Even before the interview, Daniel and I spoke to prepare me for what questions to expect and how the officers handle these interviews. Thanks to Daniel, my interview at INS was totally smooth. The INS officer was so shocked that I had the extra paperwork ready to turn in, and asked how I knew I needed it. I told him what Daniel said. Now my application will be approved with no delays, since I didn’t need to mail in any extra documents to INS after my interview. After too many years with just my green card, I’m now excited to go to my swear-in ceremony. Daniel and his staff were also very friendly and ready to answer all of my questions. I totally recommend Daniel!

Superb

I had an immigration problem and conducted an in-depth search for an immigration attorney to represent me and came across Daniel Shanfield. From his background info available on the web - UCLA undergrad, UC Berkeley Boalt Hall law school - I knew that Daniel was smart. Meeting him in person, I im...mediately felt that he had the other element I was looking for in the attorney who was going to represent me - the passion and commitment to his client. I had met three other attorneys before finding Daniel - all with fine reputations in the SF Bay Area - and they had all fallen short of my expectations. I found one to be too concerned about collecting fees and the other two were too pessimistic about my case. Based on the what the other attorneys had said, I thought that Daniel's assessment of the case during the initial consultation was too optimistic, but he explained his track record in his past cases and the strategy he was going to follow with my case, both of which justified his optimism. The case proceeded exactly as he had initially outlined - in terms of the timeline, the strategy and the outcome. I found his fees to be very competitive. I believe that the complexity of my case required him and his staff to spend more hours than justified by his agreed fee but I never received any additional request for payment or complaints from him. The ultimate outcome was exactly as he had predicted and was a complete victory for me. I recommend Daniel without any reservations. He combines intelligence, commitment, passion, and care. On top of it, he has a fine sense of humor. In my line of work, I've worked with literally hundreds of attorneys throughout the US - not just immigration attorneys. Daniel definitely ranks with the best of them.
