THE BEST ATTORNEY EVER! WOW!

Stephanie has represented me multiple times. She is great. She has a good repoire with judges and the DA. She is compassionate, articulate, reliable, down-to-earth, and works hard on your case as if it is the only one she has. Her rates are reasonable. She does not keep gouging you for more. I ...would highly recommend her and noone else for criminal defense.

I, Teresa Carroll retained Stephanie for my adult mental health daughter, she has been very supportive, understanding and patient with my daughter, because working with mental health along with an addition can be very challenging, she also informs me on everything going on with her case, cause I wor...k seven days a week if can't make court she calls me afterward without, me asking, I really like and appreciate that very much communication is the key, I feel safe and secure that she has my daughters best interest at heart, my daughter really likes her too, she's nothing like lawyer we had at first, we had at first, thank you Stephanie. DUI lawyer

This review is overdue but I need to share my experience in the hopes that it might help someone who’s looking for a trustworthy lawyer who will go the distance for you, because that’s how I found Stephanie Rickard. In March this year, my worst nightmare came true when I was arrested for a DUI and dr...iving with an expired license. My BAC was .21 and pardon the drama, but basically I thought my life was over. As an international student I had major concerns about how this would all affect my status here, as well as any scholarships I was counting on for school. I cannot overstate how good Stephanie Rickard is at what she does. She somehow got my BAC lowered to .19, which of course made all the difference in terms of the 3-month DUI program versus 9-months, the fine amount, my license restriction. I served 5 days at the Weekend Work Program in Cupertino. More than anything though, she was a source of strength when the whole nightmare was playing out in my head. Right from the beginning I knew I was in good hands. She was understanding, for the most part easy to get a hold of, updated me, and kept me sane. Do yourself a favor and call her.

Don't look any further!

I can not express how fortunate I feel for having Stephanie take my case. From the very beginning she went way above and beyond what any other attorney would do. Stephanie's fees are surprisingly affordable for the amount of effort she puts into your case. She always kept me informed of everything th...at was taking place and pushed for the best possible outcome, which she unbelievably accomplished by having my charges reduced. Stephanie continues to guide me through the "recovery" process and DMV nightmare. Extremely Knowledgeable

In January, I decided to drink and drive and got pulled over for my poor choice. Doing a bit of research, I became very worried about the stuff I'd have to go through since a DUI carries with it a hefty fine and also a mandatory suspension of the license. For me, I was worried about the effects on my... day-to-day life since I was dealing with difficult things at work and home at the time. Stephanie was able to explain the best and worst case scenarios in a way that made sense to me, and assured me that I wouldn't have to go to jail for my first offense (which would have been devastating to my life if I wasn't able to take care of my personal stuff at that point). What amazed me was that my arm had gotten badly bruised from the blood test I opted for and she was able to immediately figure out the person who drew my blood to use as evidence if necessary. The attention to detail and knowledge of the people and factors for DUI cases in the area was what made me choose Stephanie after talking to a couple of other lawyers. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision, and the entire office was very good at communicating with me discreetly and promptly via phone and through email based on my preferences. This way, I was able to take care of a busy work schedule without worrying about being caught at bad times. Her simple explanations of confusing legal things really helped keep me get on with my regular life and ease into the things I needed to do after the court date. She always had a current strategy that she would continually update based on whatever factors became known as it got closer to the court date. It ended up that the police officer had done absolutely everything right on their end and I was convicted of a DUI with 0.18 BAC, but Stephanie took care of all of my paperwork and made sure I stayed out of jail. I've talked to other people with similar cases and they've had heftier sentences than I received. The best part of it all is the fact that I didn't have to spend any time in court, and I was notified promptly of all news related to the case. For someone so disorganized as myself, it was worth having Stephanie represent me just for the simple fact of making sure all the paperwork was properly handled because I'm pretty sure I would have missed something if I tried to do everything myself. Getting a DUI and learning about the consequences can come as a major shock, but definitely give Stephanie Rickard a call to make sure your case is handled properly.
