100% Positive Result.

This case was a Breach of Contract involving a customer who after ordering a custom retail accessory decided that due to low demand would not take delivery. I was referred to Ms. Rickard by a mutual attorney friend and hired her to represent my company. Once all the details were reviewed her team wen...t to work. I was very impressed with the level of detail Ms. Rickard presented to the arbitrator in this case. Additionally Ms. Richard's understanding of the facts clearly was a factor in the outcome. Our company was awarded 100% of our claim. I would highly recommend Ms. Rickard and her team. Great firm.

DUI while Visiting

Originally from Southern California, I was in Silicon Valley working on a year long contract and was 8 months in when I was picked up for being heavily intoxicated behind the wheel. Not knowing whether or not my work contract would be extended, Stephanie was able to negotiate a deal for community ser...vice, which could be done in either location at any time, rather then the Sheriff's Work Program, which was inflexible. She made the whole experience a painless as possible and kept me informed during every step.

Extremely Knowledgeable

In January, I decided to drink and drive and got pulled over for my poor choice. Doing a bit of research, I became very worried about the stuff I'd have to go through since a DUI carries with it a hefty fine and also a mandatory suspension of the license. For me, I was worried about the effects on my... day-to-day life since I was dealing with difficult things at work and home at the time. Stephanie was able to explain the best and worst case scenarios in a way that made sense to me, and assured me that I wouldn't have to go to jail for my first offense (which would have been devastating to my life if I wasn't able to take care of my personal stuff at that point). What amazed me was that my arm had gotten badly bruised from the blood test I opted for and she was able to immediately figure out the person who drew my blood to use as evidence if necessary. The attention to detail and knowledge of the people and factors for DUI cases in the area was what made me choose Stephanie after talking to a couple of other lawyers. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision, and the entire office was very good at communicating with me discreetly and promptly via phone and through email based on my preferences. This way, I was able to take care of a busy work schedule without worrying about being caught at bad times. Her simple explanations of confusing legal things really helped keep me get on with my regular life and ease into the things I needed to do after the court date. She always had a current strategy that she would continually update based on whatever factors became known as it got closer to the court date. It ended up that the police officer had done absolutely everything right on their end and I was convicted of a DUI with 0.18 BAC, but Stephanie took care of all of my paperwork and made sure I stayed out of jail. I've talked to other people with similar cases and they've had heftier sentences than I received. The best part of it all is the fact that I didn't have to spend any time in court, and I was notified promptly of all news related to the case. For someone so disorganized as myself, it was worth having Stephanie represent me just for the simple fact of making sure all the paperwork was properly handled because I'm pretty sure I would have missed something if I tried to do everything myself. Getting a DUI and learning about the consequences can come as a major shock, but definitely give Stephanie Rickard a call to make sure your case is handled properly.

One hell of a attorney

Stephanie is such a honest and trustworthy person .. She handled my case and is now handling my expungement. Unlike many attorneys who are out just for money , Stephanie truly cares and wants the best for the client . Very reasonable to talk to . I would not go to anyone else as long as she's in busi...ness .. Hopefully I won't need a attorney again , but if I do , Stephanie is the only one

Professional, Responsive and Knowledgeable

I highly recommend Stephanie. I ran into some difficult situations in the past year. My family and I needed Stephanie's assistance on a couple of occasions in the past 10 months. Recently, Stephanie handled my DUI case. She is professional and knowledgeable and always looks out for your interest ...in a non-judgmental way. She went over the potential consequences with me in a caring and straight forward manner. She does not try to scare nor sugar coat any message. I appreciate that very much. She is also very responsive and kept me in the loop through meetings, phone calls, emails, and text messages, as the matter unfolded. Once you hire her, she will take over for you and you will feel that you are in good hands. Through her effort, the outcome for my case was the best that I could hope for. Thank you very much, Stephanie! I appreciate all your help.
