Amazing Lawyer

Stephanie rickard is an amazing lawyer I had 3 felony charges was facing quite a bit of jail time she fought my case for over 1 1/2 years never gave up on my case got it reduced too 1 felony no jail time words can't explain how great of a lawyer she is every judge or district attorney we were brought... in front of you could tell she was a very well respected lawyer

A few words about Stephanie

For a person who has never been involved in any police matter, having criminal charges being filed against you can be a harrowing experience. I had got myself involved in an alleged "Hit and Run" case, and was facing misdemeanor charges. In reality however, I had just been dumb enough to not notice t...he minor impact which had happened with another car. In any case, it was terrifying just thinking about the court proceedings and the possible verdicts. My being an immigrant on an H1-B visa added further to the mental anguish, thinking about the possible effect of these charges on my immigration status. In those difficult moments, talking to Stephanie felt good. She gave me a detailed explanation of the charges I was facing, and how she planned to address them. It felt that all was not lost afterall. Coming from an experienced attorney like her, it was not hard to see that she knew what she was talking about. It didn't seem like this was the first time she was handling such a case. But what appealed most to me about her, was her sense of empathy, which I found missing in varying degrees, in other lawyers whom I had consulted. In our first meeting itself, she outlined a plan of action, and informed me that we had a good chance of getting the charges reduced to an infraction, which is essentially like a speeding ticket. Even though it took 3 hearings (which you have to live with unfortunately, because thats how the system works - slow), we got what we had planned for aka an infraction. It was a big relief. Overall, I found Stephanie to be intelligent, resourceful, empathetic and a person who actually had your best interest at heart, as against the monetary gains for herself. She will not push you to make a hasty decision to make her your attorney. She will not tell you anything which she thinks she cannot achieve for you, which is another of her traits I appreciated. She will describe things for you as they are, which most of the times are not as bad you imagine them in your head.

I searched for a lawyer, and one name kept popping up, always with a perfect rating, attorney Stephanie Rickard. During our consultations, Stephanie was so empathetic to my situation, so positive and hopeful that the issue would be resolved in the best possible way for me. Best Attorney in the Bay Area!

I found myself in a situation and I needed an attorney. After reading reviews and speaking with several law offices I went to meet with Stephanie Rickard. She took notes and asked questions as I explained what had happened. She reassured me and explained how the process would work and what she cou...ld do for me. As I left her office I felt confident that I was in good hands. And I was! Stephanie followed up with the court and ultimately got the best settlement possible for my situation. Smart and effective attorney

We hired Stephanie to represent our young adult son for major charges involving mostly stupidity and alcohol. She was very efficient (able to come to court on short notice), courteous (treated him like a human vs scum), and was able to rapidly devise a very effective defense plan She was able to have... one charge dropped, and a much reduced sentence for the other charge based on extenuating medical issues. Overall, a much better outcome than we had dared hope for. I am absolutely sure he would not have gotten this sentence if we had just used the public defender. I would recommend Stephanie Rickard without hesitation to anyone for major legal issues, and my son said he already recommended her to 3 acquaintances.
