Best Lawyer, period.

So I'm sure you all know how bad a divorce can go and the details of that are not important for this review. What is important is that once the ex cleaned me out and used every common system manipulation to destroy my heart, finances, career and the such while living the night life I panicked and ran... for a lawyer. I did my homework and landed on the choice of having Stephanie represent me after the ugliest divorce got uglier and Santa Clara County granted a temporary restraining order on me and I didn't realize that a few phone calls to see my children would get me arrested due to the ex claiming false accusations and played the I'm scared card in front of a judge. Okay so I'm not an "in trouble with the law" type of guy and don't know the language of the courts at all, but Stephanie definitely does in a major way. we would walk in and all other cases would stop so we could take care of business and be gone. That is no exaggeration. This woman knows her stuff, knows her territory, and knows everyone in that territory both for and opposing. I don't care what your case is. Stephanie will handle it. I never thought I would say this and mean it, but when it came time to pay her for her flawless services it was more than reasonable. To be honest, by the end of the civil side of the divorce I haven't much left and she most likely could sense that. I have to go against the stereotypical point of view and say Stephanie pulls off being a great lawyer and having a big heart.

The best female attorney in Santa Clara county!

Words can't describe her compassion, dedication and professionalism. On my third DUI no jail time/community service. She's got me the best deal that I could only dream of. She is also SUPER fair on her price. Just the best. Thank you Stephanie.

Honest Attorney

I had some problems with a business that the City Planning Department and Sheriff Department were harassing me. I hired a lawyer to represented me. I payed him a lot of money and never got any results. Because of him I actually received more citations. That took a year. I decided to look for another ...Attorney and found Stephanie Rickard on Yelp. I made an appointment and met her. She was 100% different from the other Attorney, she actually cared. She explained what she could do for me and said she would talk to the City Officials for me. Long story short, In two weeks she had my case brought to Court and had half of the citations dropped. The other ones were reduced to infractions. I suffered for over a year and she cleared it up in two weeks. Great, Friendly, Knowledgable Attorney. I definitely would recommend her. If your stuck with a bad lawyer get someone else.

Stephanie is a Godsend!

Years ago I worked as a manager inside a prominent legal firm in downtown San Jose, so when I found myself in legal trouble, I naturally turned to one of the patent lawyers with whom I'd worked for help finding a criminal defense attorney. I was told in no uncertain terms that Stephanie Rickard... was the best defense lawyer in Santa Clara County, and my experience hiring her to defend me leads me to believe that it's true. Before becoming a criminal defense attorney, Stephanie worked in the district attorney's office in Santa Clara County; thus, she knows both sides of the aisle and is well respected by judges and prosecutors which translates into a stronger defense for her clients. I was facing time in jail, but Stephanie was able to eventually have the case dismissed! Throughout the ordeal, from beginning to end, she was straight forward and comforting. Stephanie was an answer to prayer, and I was extremely fortunate to have her represent me. If you're in criminal trouble, she's the one to hire!

Criminal Defense

Stephanie Rickard was amazing!! She did much better work than I was hoping for. The moment she stepped foot into her office, I knew she was the one and I know you will feel the same way. She was comforting when I was feeling depress and hopeless. I am so grateful and can't thank her enough.
