When I met Attorney Javier Rios I was immediately impressed by his calm manner and courtesy. . roughly quoting Maya Angilou ... “people may forget what you said, but they will not forget how you made them feel". Although it was late in the day, Mr. Rios gave us his devoted and uninterrupted time. Javier Rios did an amazingly good job as my Public Defender. He cared about me and that made a huge difference. He always told me "I believe in you" and it showed. He was a pit bull in court. He dug in and never gave up. He filed motions. Harassed the court. Objected to (almost) everything. Showed in...finite patience. Never gave up.
