I met Hector in the most difficult time. I would have lost my child if he did not step in. He reduced his fees for me. The office personnel are his family members. They are very courteous and respectful. I felt myself I am also part of the family. His presence calms me and instantly bring peace in my... heart. They pray for all their clients on every Friday! He knows the legal system is corrupted, he recommended me to get out of the court system. If I had known how to make my ex happy so that he stopped litigating and ruining the family financially and emotionally, I would have done it. He keeps you informed, educates you and tell you the steps he is taking. He is very organized yet heavily dependent on the associates.
His office is equipped with state of the art. They keep all the documents electronically that requires paralegal's time to scan, staples, copy and send via email as well as postal. They are responsive to opposite counsel's correspondence. They will write opposite counsel acknowledgement letter, then send the response to them as well as to you, they will again scan the copy of their faxed letter. All these administrative work adds up.
He is very busy, most probably you need to work with one of the junior associate who is inexperienced and trying to gain experience at your expense. That could adds the cost on your legal expenses. You would meet him the day before the hearing. Associate controls the entire case. I wish he was more accessible, work with the client to keep administrative, repeating cost down. He is completely dependent on his office stuff. Periodically, he needs to check with client. I had bad experience with his staff who used the power not to talk to him nor even continue the case. If she was not there, I am sure he would have represented me. I still regret the working opportunity with him. I would be happy if he works with me on pro-bono basis.
I still feel blessed to have him as my attorney who is an honest, knowledgeable, kind attorney. I would highly recommend him. If I have the ability to retain him, I would have done it. I would have been appreciative of him if he could have taylored the case and keep the cost down based on individual's needs,
