He's the guy to go with

This is a long overdue review. I was charged with a DUI last year. After spending one of the worst nights ever in jail, I went online and searched for DUI lawyers. I stumbled upon this site and saw that Mark Blair and a few others around Redwood City had great reviews. However, he had the most ex...perience out of everyone else (30 years or so). I wanted the person representing me to be someone who has seen every scenario relating to DUI's play out. I figured with that much experience Mark would have gone through every single DUI related case possible. So I went with him over the others. He was very professional and extremely detailed with instructions, down to even getting an ID card to make life easier. His practice is a business that provides first class service. You definitely don't feel judged or stigmatized as a criminal. If you're anxious about what's to come, he'll definitely put you at ease by explaining every single step of the process: DMV hearing, SR22, court hearing, dui classes, etc. I blew a .11 in the field and a .09 in the station. I went through sobriety tests and answered all the officer's questions instead of politely remaining silent. Mark was able to reduce my DUI charge to a wet reckless. People at my dui class were shocked because they haven't heard of such a reduction. Go with him and you won't regret it. I did my DUI classes at star vista in Redwood City. Kathy, asked me who my lawyer was. I told her, Mark Blair and she said, "Oh, you're in good hands." You don't know how much more relieved I felt after that. Thank you, Mark for all your help, all the work you do and the manner that you do it. Will reach out to you next year when it's time for expungement. Also, go with his insurance guy. He'll save you a couple thousand bucks, as well.

Highly recommended

Mark is very experienced and knowledgable about specifically DUI/DWI cases so he will give you the attention and expertise that you need. He is always extremely quick to respond to questions, and will give you detailed information about what you need to do to improve the outcome of your case. That's... what he did for me, and I always felt like he was advocating on my behalf and did everything possible to reach a good outcome.

You'll feel much better with Mark Blair representing you

Mark Blair was very communicative and helpful. I had been arrested for DUI, but Mark was able to reduce my charge to a "wet reckless." And I believe that if I didn't have Mark's representation, I would have been worse off.

Gets the Results You Ask For

I made the biggest mistake of my life and drove after drinking. I got arrested and charged for DUI in Santa Clara County, which is known to impose harsh penalties on DUIs, including first offense DUIs. This was my first run-in with the law, so I knew hiring an attorney would be imperative. I had a... lot of people tell me that hiring one would be useless and I'd only be wasting my money. I'm glad I ignored the naysayers because Mark Blair got me the result that I had desperately hoped for. After consulting with and retaining another DUI lawyer, I immediately lost confidence in her. As soon as I paid her retainer fee, she was slow to respond and difficult to reach. I consulted with Mr. Blair, and after speaking with him at length about my case, I decided to go with him. I'm so glad I did. I told Mr. Blair that my biggest priority was protecting my professional license from discipline, so I needed for him to get my charge reduced to a "wet reckless". This would be no easy feat, as my BAC was over twice the legal limit at 0.16! Not only was I facing a DUI, but a DUI with enhancements because of my excessively high BAC. Well, long story short, Mr. Blair managed to convince the deputy DA to reduce my charge to a wet reckless through a "collateral consequences" review. Yes, I got more days of work through the sheriff's work program, but Mr. Blair did advise me that this would likely happen, as the DA would feel like she was handing me such a big break in offering a reduced charge. I knew I had to accept her offer, as I was very well aware of how difficult it is to obtain a wet reckless in Santa Clara County, especially when one's BAC is over twice the legal limit. From arrest to conviction, this whole process took a little over four months to resolve. I won't lie, this experience has been nothing short of painful, humiliating, expensive, and emotionally exhausting, but I have to say that retaining Mr. Blair gave me just enough peace of mind and hope to get me through this horrid ordeal one day at a time. I feel such relief that this whole mess is behind me now and I can finally move on with my life. If you're in need of a DUI attorney in the Bay Area, especially in Santa Clara County, hire Mark Blair. Listen to his advice and he'll get you the best possible result. Thank you for all your help, Mr. Blair!

Excellent Lawyer/Adviser

Last year I was received a drunk driving charge, for which Mark was my attorney. He was very helpful, and listened to the details of my case completely, before guiding me through the process. This was my first brush with law enforcement and the judicial system, and the system might seem quite hard to... navigate, but with his friendly demeanor, years of experience and helpful attitude, I was guided through the process quite smoothly.
