Best Defense I could ask for

Steve and his team are nothing short of lifesavers. What I had originally thought would be a reputation-ending, and what felt like life-ending, situation was professionally navigated and redrawn as a life lesson I'll never forget. My damages were brought down from $30,000+ to roughly $6,000 all while... keeping my identity and reputation from being outed and exploited by the company that sent me the original notice. Through the entire process everyone that I spoke to was friendly, cooperative, attentive, apt, and incredibly timely. My first lawyer

I received an email from a compliance team member and tried to understand what did I do wrong, but the compliance person just thanked me for confirmation of usage and demanded that I pay a huge sum in order to get back in compliance. I got Steve to intervene at this point, sadly my phone was blocked... for international calls so we communicated via email only, but he re-assured me that I'm okay. Haven't heard from them since, and if they contact me again, I know who to send them to.

I received a notice from my ISP that Strike 3 LLC tried to obtain my information. Steve team addressed all my concerns and explained how he would proceed in the first call. In the end, he was able to obtain a favorable outcome and I am very happy with the result. Steve give me a realistic outlook on ...my case and provided me with information concerning my case. He told me that each case is differently and wasn't able to confirm what a settlement amount would be. He advised me of a goal that he was looking at for a settlement range but it wasn't guarantee since each case is different. In the end Steve and his team was able to help me to resolved my case with a favorable amount. I highly recommend Steve and his team if you are in the same situation. The team provided me with relevant information and gave a realistic look on the outcome. They were able to resolved my case under two weeks and got everything settled for me. I was able to reach Steve and his team when I had any legal question concerning my case and they keep me aware of the progress of my case.

I've Never Had A Lawyer Before

When I received papers in the mail saying I had violated copyright infringement laws by sharing a file I had purchased online years ago with a torrent site, I was greatly surprised and astonished. I didn't even know if this was real or a scam. The staggering amount they were requesting from me would ...probably leave me homeless. I found Vondran Legal by doing a google search. I've never had or needed a lawyer before so I didn't know what to expect. I simply left a brief message explaning my situation on their website, on a Saturday morning. On the very same day Lisa called me. She let me know this is what she does and that she could help me. I retained her as my lawyer and did nothing else. She took over and within 2 weeks my case was over and settled for an amount that I could afford and not be homeless. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful first time lawyer experience.

Thank you for your comment. Most people who contact our IP Copyright law firm are first greeted by Lisa. She is so knowledgeable about copyright infringement (having worked with me for so many years now), that some people think she is handling the case. Anxiety?

When you receive the notice of a pending subpoena to unmask your privacy, you can easily fear that your life has become unglued. Spouse, job, reputation- ANXIETY! You want this to go away and unfortunately simply ignoring the problem isn’t a viable solution. I needed someone whom I could trust, who... was non-judgmental and had experience in dealing with these bottom feeders and to whom I could transfer my fear and anxiety. I reviewed many websites addressing representation against the copyright trolls who were attacking me, and I found Steve Vondran’s posts the most professionally informative of the lot. I liked his style and perspective and picked up my phone and called him. His assistant Lisa responded and I knew pretty quickly that she and Steve would be a good fit for me. With them, I didn’t feel like I was being fed into a settlement grinder which would throw me into a wholesale trade to maximize everyone’s profit but mine. They weren’t going to play on my fears and anxiety but instead help lift that burden with me. Nor was my situation likely to drag out while my sleep deteriorated. I felt that I became part of a lean team which had my back - they knew the SOBs but were not part of them, Steve and Lisa would be there for me and move expeditiously to settle this so my life could move on. The results? Within 3 weeks my matter was done, settled within the original financial parameters to which I had agreed with Steve as being a victory of sorts, based in large part on his getting to know the salient facts of who I was, and my personal circumstances and objectives. While I hope never to have to hire Steve and Lisa again, they would again be my first choice, and I recommend them for your consideration as well. As Jimmy Buffet said “ Breath in, breath out, move on.”

You hit on a great word "ANXIETY" having handled hundreds of Strike 3 ISP subpoena cases, I can tell you that most of our clients experience anxiety. Mainly, because you are dealing with the unknown. Second, you are dealing with the legal system which can be a very confusing process. Aside from trying to settle your case as quickly as possible (to get rid of the knot in the stomach that many feel), and get the best settlement possible, we like to make it a part of our representation to explain the process and possibly even learn a thing or two. So, yes we are cognizant of this and like Blake Shelton said "doing our best to make the best of the worst of it." All the best in your future endeavors and thank you for your thoughtful input.
