Antonio Domestic violence case review

My name is antonio, March of 2010 I was arrested for Domestic Violence, had two charges one domestic violence that carried a felony and 3 years in prison and terrorist threat that counted as one strike and four years in prison, total seven years. Mr. Hammerschmidt plea bargained and got the charges ...reduced to a misdemeanor, two months in county jail and 52 week batterrer's program. So no strike, no deportation because a felony and a strike is grounds for deportation if you are only a Resident alien and not a citizen. I was totally happy with the outcome. I highly recommed this lawyer.

Excellent Attorney

Mr. Hammerschmidt is an outstanding attorney. I was charged with felony vandalism during 2009. Having never been in any type of trouble before, this was a very emotional and stressful time during my life. Mr. Hammerschmidt helped me through this difficult process. I was clearly being unfairly ...targeted by the DA’s office and local Police Department, and Mr. Hammerschmidt continuously fought the charges in court. Mr. Hammerschmidt also successfully filed a Motion To Compel Production of Discovery on my behalf, which required the DA’s office and Police Department to provide proof that my case was being handled the same way in which other vandalism cases were handled. Because the DA’s office couldn’t prove they weren’t unfairly targeting me they chose to dismiss the case rather than producing the documents the judge had ordered to be produced. I was informed that it was the first time in more than 35 years that a case had been dismissed on these grounds. Mr. Hammerschmidt is professional and ethical. He explained what was happening through every step of the way, and answered all of my questions. He always made me feel comfortable and at ease. Mr. Hammerschmidt’s staff was always courteous and helpful when I needed them. I would highly recommend Mr. Hammerschmidt.

Mr. Hammerschmidt gives personal and professional service. He is a smart, tough attorney who fought hard to get me the best possible outcome on my DUI case. I am eternally grateful for his hardwork and would strongly recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in the same trouble.

The Answer to a Prayer!

Jeffrey Hammerschmidt a True Professional!! A friend's recommendation and a blessing from above turned a very stressful and troubling time in my life from guilt and dispare to hope and justice. After being arrested and released for a second DUI and unsure which way to turn, a business associate and ...mutual friend of mine recommended I call Jeffrey Hammerschmidt. After having the opportunity to meet with Mr. Hammerschmidt and discuss my situation, I recall almost immediately during our meeting feeling not only a sense of peace but a level of confidence that not only was Mr. Hammerschmidt highly qualified but extremely knowlegeable of the law and the specific application of the law needed to formulate a legal defense as it pertained to my case.Over the course of the last year and through the duration of my case which included a "Not Guilty Plea" based on a " Wrongful Stop", a "Hearing for a Motion to Supress" that was unjustly denied by the local Judge presiding over my case, and a "Petition for Writ of Mandate" presented before the Appellate Department of the Superior Court of California, County of Fresno for review of the Judges decision to deny the Motion to Surpress which ultimately was over turned solely because of Mr. Hammerschmidt's knowledge of the law! Thankfully I can say that Mr.Hammerschmidt's strategy, dedication, professionalism and commitment to justice proved not only effective but exonorated me of all charges! I not only will recommend Mr. Hammerchmidt and his team of Professional's to anyone in need of Legal Services "Defense" but will also be forever indebted and grateful to all of them. Extremely sharp....you name it !!!

I just want the whole world to know how magnificent, how terrific Mr. Hammerschmidt is as an Attorney and as a person. He is not only an excellent lawyer, not only one whom you can count on but one with great moral principals, one who will fight for you, take time to understand you, think for you... and goes the extra miles if he needs to...to do all that he can for you....even goes beyond his legal duties and put your life back together for you (if he can) I was charged with Four Felony Counts....I found Mr. Hammerschmidt after consulting with at least (4) lawyers and retaining at least (2) to defend me unsatsifactorily and waste 1 1/2 year plus whole bunch of money for very little return. I am so greatful to Jeff and will forever appreciate everything he has done for me....As much as I do not want to say it, but I must say. It was really "God" who found him for me....I got his name in the phone book after becoming so desperate with my other lawyer. Mr. Hammerschmidt negociated and fought for me....What I get was the Four Felony Counts against me dropped to a "Dismissal" (a deferred dismissal with small stipulation)....You can see my case in the Fresno Bee, July 3, 2008. I am and will recommend Jeff Hamerschmidt to anyone with no hesitation....God bless and thank you so much Jeff !!!!
