I had a car accident back in November 2017. I was in pain but didn't know what to do about it. I had no idea who to contact after the accident, but listening Kevin & Bean in the mornings I had always heard of Sweet James Bergener. I called in to explain my situation they immediately took my case. I f...irst gained their trust when after I had reported my accident to my insurance they (my insurance) told me unfortunately I wasn't covered for damages to my car because the other driver was uninsured. Sweet James team made a call, immediately I got a call from my insurance to take my vehicle into a repair facility because apparently I was covered up to $3,500. Funny how they missed that on my initial call. From there I knew I was in good hands. I proceeded to be in communication with Chloe who was my direct contact for my case. I kept her up to date with my doctor visits and then the day came that I was to have a minimal back surgery to correct a sciatic issue from a slipped disc that was a result from my accident. I had my procedure done in March of 2018 and then we played the waiting game. The team gathered all my information from all my doctor's visits and treatment and told me they would be in touch as they started negotiations. I was then introduced to attorney Phil Younglove who at the time had some interesting news for me. He explained my situation in full detail. Specifically how my insurance claim was approved by my insurance and now the payouts needed to be figured out. The interesting part was when he explained to me that although we're getting X amount of dollars for my settlement, my medical bills exceeded that amount by double. He then stated "I have never had a client not get any money back from a claim and I don't plan on starting now..." however, He explained because of the situation we're in due to my medical insurance and my out of network surgeon I may not get anything back. At first I was crushed, but soon got over it. I was grateful that he was 100% honest with me. I was impressed with his confidence, but I'll be honest, I wasn't going to have expectations. All I wanted were my bills paid and the lawyers paid. I had been blessed plenty with a successful back surgery that relieved my physical pain. I was ok with not getting any money back for myself. Then I got the call. June 2019, Phil called me and explained they finally resolved the case. All expenses on their end were taken care of, my medical bills were taken care of (mind you there technically wasn't enough money to cover all of them), oh and that leaves you with a check for a nice amount of money I was not expecting at all. He told me Andrew from their team helped with the negotiations for my medical bills resulting in some change left over for me. Change is an understatement, I am very happy with the change I got. I can not express how grateful I am for Phil, Chloe, Andrew and all the team at Bergener Mirejovsky for their persistence in settling my case and taking care of Me, their client. I have to say I was really happy with my legal team of Chole Hunt and Phil Younglove. Chole was my contact for the first half of the case until Phil took over the rest of the case. My case took over 2 years to settle and I’m happy with the outcome. Phil was professional and courteous. Phil answere...d all my questions either if I emailed him or called his office. Phil is able to give me the attention i deserved without making me feel like a case number and more of a actual person on the other end. I hope I never have another car accident again but if it happens I would want Phil to be my attorney.
