High recommendation for this professional!

Rosana was courteous, helpful, and highly professional from the beginning of the consultation throughout the working relationship. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I already count on her for any questions or needs I have.

Nobleza Tequila Recommends Rosana Herrera

Nobleza Tequila, Inc. has worked extensively with Rosana. She has been extremely resourceful and knowledgable about the law as it pertains to our needs as a small, start up company in California. I would highly recommend her services for any small to medium size business whether in the start up sta...ges or at a more mature stage in the life of the company.

Service Review for Rosana G. Hererra: San Diego Council on Literacy

Rosana G. Herrera served as the attorney for the San Diego Council on Literacy (SDCOL), a nonprofit organization established in 1986. In my term as CEO with the SDCOL, I had the opportunity, pleasure, and good fortune of working with Rosana Ortega (2006-2009) in a number of legal matters that relate...d to contractual agreements with service programs, employees, board members, and business entities in the community. Some matters pertained to upgrading of by-laws, personnel manuals, and memorandums of understandings. While these matters were complex and required the kind of time and expertise we needed from Rosana Ortega , others matters were significantly more complex in nature, were foreign to our organization, and, frankly, were foreign to nonprofit organizations in general. More often than we wished, matters arise that did not appear to have clear cut answers or precedence. In every instance, Rosana Herrera conducted much in-depth research, asked questions, and decidedly and confidently, counseled our board members and myself, consistently, in a manner that best-served our interests. Like so many clients, we are not always happy to hear what an attorney may find and recommend as solutions. We knew that by following the advice of this attorney, that our best interests would be protected. We would be safe. Very much to her credit, Rosana Ortega communicated to all of us in a language we could all understand. Most attractive was her ability to take the facts and the law and bring them together in a sequential manner that made sense to all of us. I had never seen, nor do I expect to see again, the conscientious and passionate attention Rosana Ortega gave to all of our legal matters, but, more specifically the one that related to a funding source that could potentially hurt all of us. And her communications abilities in this matter were exactly what we needed them to be. However, quite naturally, our staff, more specifically, myself, and some board members, had some conflict in this matter. Regardless, we put our faith in Rosana Ortega’s work. This faith had always been rewarded in the past. Her clear explanation of the facts and consequences convinced us to do the right thing. We are in debt to her for her professionalism, ethics, and for how she stood by her principles in this particular matter. Easily, she could have allowed us to do the wrong thing. She did not. Her concern for us was more than admirable and, we feel, beyond the call of duty. It was a good thing to know that the attorney that we had representing truly cared, not just about the law, but about the clients…in a personal way, but without compromise of professionalism. We miss working with Rosana Ortega and would strongly recommend her to the reader here. Best of all, this review would not be complete without my stating that the exemplary work that Rosana Ortega provided to us was delivered on a pro bono basis. We could not have paid another attorney to provide the quality of work that Rosana Ortega provided to us during my three years working with her and the many years in advance of my tenure with the organization. I am sure we will never find attorney with the kinds of standards that Rosana Herrera demands of herself.
