DON'T HIRE A DUI ATTORNEY UNTIL YOU TALK TO COLE !

Cole Casey is the real deal. I talked to and met with several DUI Attorneys before hiring Cole. A family member got his second DUI in 10 years, a serious offense with potentially devastating consequences, in our case. I reached out to one more Attorney before making a decision and I am forever gratef...ul that person was Cole. Hands down, he is the BEST of the BEST. He asked the questions the others did not and he really cared! After meeting him in person, we retained him on the spot. Cole did absolutely everything he said he would and more. I am one million percent convinced that his extensive knowledge, guidance & expertise were crucial to my brother getting the absolute “best possible outcome”. Thanks Cole & Staff!

A Kind and HONEST Man

After speaking with 3 or 4 lawyers on behalf of my son, who was arrested for his first DUI at age 22, I was sure that my son was going to jail, and was going to suffer for the rest of his life. That's what I had been told would happen, unless of course I hired one of them. I was referred to Cole Cas...ey by my neighbor, a police officer, who's son also had a DUI and had Mr. Casey as his lawyer, and he spoke very highly of Mr. Casey. Apparently the San Diego Police department considers him their go-to guy when their family members get in trouble, and that was very comforting. I called Mr. Casey's office, was patched right through to him and he spent almost an hour calming me down, assuring me that my son was going to be fine, would not go to jail and most importantly, that I did not his services or the services of any lawyer at all. After having every other lawyer I spoke with trying to scare me into giving them my credit card number over the phone, and giving me some very unprofessional sales pitches. Mr. Casey was truly a breath of fresh, honest air. He is the exact opposite of what you would expect a lawyer to be and that was so wonderful to see. He could tell how scared I was, and just kept re-assuring me. He explained the entire DMV process to me, told me how to get the proper documents for my son to get a provisional license and told me not not to waste my time with the DMV. He gave me his cell phone number, told me to go with my son to court and to use the services of the Public Defender, because hiring him would be a waste of money. He told me to call him if we got into a bind, or had questions. After an hour of talking, I insisted on paying him for his time because he was a thousand times more helpful than anyone I had spoken to, and he would have none of it. This is a truly honest and caring man, but you can tell by talking to him that he is also 100% an authentically tough, and impressive lawyer. It is obvious why he has so many awards and professional commendations. He made me laugh, I stopped crying, and I will refer anyone I know that gets in trouble to him. I know he will give them straightforward advice and not try to scam them into hiring him. My son went to court, took his lumps, the punishment was exactly what Mr. Casey said it would be, and I did not waste thousands of dollars on a lawyer. I emailed him after my son's case was a over, thanked him and again offered to pay him; he simply would not allow it. Thank you Mr. Casey, your profession should be proud of you and the way you conduct yourself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thank You Cole Casey

Using Cole Casey is the best decision you can make if you receive a DUI. I’m highly educated, successful and yet I made a very bad decision to get behind the wheel of my car following a heated argument with a loved one who was being abusive and left after our argument. Finding myself alone and in ...jail, my car totaled, my loved one wasn’t there to help me, my best friend was there. In a state of panic, we quickly rented a car and contacted a referral from the bail bond company. The attorney assigned to me seemed competent at the beginning as he tried to understand my case. That attorney represented me at the DMV, misrepresented the facts of the case and didn’t provide any updates on next steps. I took the required classes and didn’t drive as I worked my way through the DMV process. About 10 days prior to the anniversary of the incident, I received a mailing indicating an upcoming court date as a felony charge. We went to court, and it was clear the attorney was not prepared and he did not represent me very well. I left the court room with an order to wear an ankle bracelet until the next hearing date in the middle of the summer. After a couple weeks of hiding the ankle bracelet at work (in meetings), and from my children, I contacted another attorney to ask for a referral – she said Cole Casey was the best. Upon contacting Cole’s office, they collected some basic information from me, answered my questions, and set up time for me to meet with Cole. We met at the office and Cole asked for details, reviewed my paperwork, and luckily, Cole was willing to take on my case. Within days and while I was on a beach vacation with my children in Orange County, Cole made arrangements for he and I to meet with a judge to make a case for the ankle bracelet to be removed immediately. Cole won it for me. Following the meeting with the judge, I drove to San Diego, had the bracelet removed, and returned to Orange County to enjoy the remainder of my vacation with my children. The next challenge would be the felony and seeing if we could have the charge reduced to a misdemeanor. A few weeks later, Cole represented me and was able to have the charge reduced. Throughout the entire process, Cole was available, honest, concerned, and dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome. Cole and his team are absolutely amazing. If I had started with Cole it’s likely he would have been able to resolve my case much quicker than the 14 very scary, uncomfortable, unpleasant months I endured. Cole Casey is the best, and I am thankful and appreciative of his expertise, relationships, honesty, and sense of urgency.

I hired Mr. Casey for a serious felony charge

Last year my world was turned upside down. I'd never been in trouble before, not even a parking ticket. Professionally employed - white collar, honorable military service and by all account a good family man, friend and law abiding citizen. I hired Mr. Casey and his firm to represent me for a seri...ous felony charge and it was the right move. Never experiencing something like this before I had all sorts of thoughts running through my head. From the beginning I felt I was innocent, but at the least my only stipulation was not serving time. From the start Mr. Casey advised me there are no guarantees, but felt there was a good chance we could resolve this with no time served. I found Mr. Casey trustworthy, flexible, but firm and most of all supportive. He kept me abreast of the situation along the way, looked at all possibilities and communicated them effectively with both positive and negative repercussions and he took the time to meet with me on a regular basis to help me pause and reset when I would get anxious. Mr. Casey was very knowledgeable about my case and briefed me what he felt the prosecutors were after, would accept and won't accept. Besides the prosecution, Mr. Casey was very accustomed with the courts and judges we appeared before and at every turn what he surmised is pretty much what transpired. Mr. Casey guided me and directed me to actions I could take to support and strengthen my position regarding services I could attend. Mr. Casey fought my case for almost a year and by the end he got me exactly what I asked for. I ended up pleading out my case to lesser charges and no time served. I highly recommend G. Cole Casey Esq. and his team for their expertise, trustworthiness, support, understanding and knowledge of law, the prosecution, courts and judges in San Diego County.

Normally I would not take the time to write a review however, this is the least I can do for all the hard work Cole, Alisha, Matt, Lauren and the rest of his firm did on my behalf. I was arrested in Oct 2012 for DUI. My life came crashing down and I felt as if I would never get through this nightma...re. I was referred to Cole by someone very high in my Chain of Command (USMC). The fact that someone much higher in rank than myself would take the time to talk to me and suggest to go to a specific lawyer meant a lot. I immediately called Cole to set up a meeting with him and his colleagues. They were way more than accommodating from the very start!! He was upfront with me about the entire situation and the consequences that I would be facing but his reassurance helped me get passed this terrible decision I made to get behind the wheel and drive that night. I never had to show up to a single court hearing, he did that on my behalf every single time, his team kept me informed and sent me updates either that same day or the next at the latest. After fighting the case for almost a year, he was able to arrange a deal and lessen my charges. Since then, they have also filed a motion to terminate my probation early and were successful!!! They are truly blessed with talent to say the least! Cole, Alisha, Matt, and Lauren... Thank you guys so much for all the help! You have truly helped me get my life back on track! God bless you all! I give my highest recommendations to anyone who finds themselves in a similar bind!
