Getting my first DUI is one of the worst experience I have ever went through in my life. Being a health care professional, I had to hire both a criminal lawyer to handle my case with the state and a licensing lawyer with the board. I had such a bad experience with my criminal lawyer and was traum...atized by the bad communication, how poorly I was treated and how my case was handled by him. I came to Nicole with anxiety, little hope and was skeptical of all lawyers (this was my first experience obtaining any lawyer). When I came to her, I had a million questions which she helped answered and walked me through the process. The experience I had with her and my criminal lawyer was night and day. I told her I didn’t want to go on probation and although she didn’t make promises, she gave me a checklist of what she needed from me to put together my mitigation package and said if the board decides to put you on probation, this is what we can do and explained to me the process of how we can fight it. Both Kimberly and Nicole were professional and respond to emails in a timely manner. They also handle everything in terms of sending paperwork to your malpractice insurance to get a reimbursement check. I was able to get back what I paid including the cost to obtain her, the quite expensive forensic evaluation, and cost of getting certified paperwork from the court. I hope to never have to need a lawyer to protect my livelihood again but if I do, I will go to Nicole and Kimberly. I was able to get a citation from the board for my first offense DUI. FYI citations are not posted under the dental hygiene board yet since it’s a new board but may in the future. Nicole said when the time comes and they do post it, we will figure it out then.

Ms. Irmer’s law office was incredibly helpful in dealing with a state licensing issue. Her office was patient and very thorough in explaining processes and procedures. I was able to easily reach her or one of her associates whenever I had a question or concern, and the office responded promptly. Ms. ...Irmer was diligent in getting the answers I needed, and I feel I got the best outcome for the circumstances at hand. I would certainly utilize her office again if I were confronted with a similar issue.
