In 2013, my brother was extradited from Mexico to the United States to face federal criminal charges of narcotics in El Paso. He was facing at least 15 years in prison as the 8th of 12 defendants for a drug conspiracy. He was also the lead defendant on two separate federal indictments from San D...iego, each carrying ten-year mandatory minimum sentences.
