Recovery From a DUI Collision in North County

After viewing numerous injury lawyer websites for the entire San Diego County, I relied on a word-of-mouth referral and contacted Walton Law Firm. At the time, I did not realize how this choice resulted in an immensely helpful partnership and benefit toward my legal claims. I introduced myself to Red...mond, who immediately provided me with guidance and options to explore. I explained I was one of several victims involved in a DUI collision where there was loss of life for one person and another with bodily injuries. Furthermore, I spent one week in the hospital, reflecting on how fortunate I am to live and recover from multiple bone breaks, concussion, and many other critical injuries. Over the course of the past year, Redmond listened to my concerns and reviewed my situation as the case developed over time. In addition, Redmond invited Randy for supplemental guidance - and eventually both were by my side, educating me; handling logistics with medical billing, legal and court documentation; and then translating the terminology into practical, easy-to-understand language so that I can make informed decisions about representing myself in court and on paper. Redmond also joined me in court for initial witness testimony, offering me support as well as evaluating the testimony of others who were witnesses at my auto accident. After discouraging court delays, both Redmond and Randy remained vigilant and persistent in representing my short-term and long-term needs (financial, medical, and legal). In all, counseling from both Redmond and Randy has helped me with decisions and choices leading to my satisfaction with the financial settlement. Even though the civil case has technically ended, and auto insurance claims were distributed, the criminal case for the DUI driver continues. Redmond has offered to join me as I relive this experience. Since the first phone call, Redmond’s values and his commitment to the client are certainly above-and-beyond my expectations. Randy and Sarah also provided comfort and support during my recovery process. The San Diego area is populated with various accident and injury lawyers. Yet, I can say the entire team at Walton Law Firm has my respect. I feel welcome at their office when I stop by for updates; and I have never experienced boiler-room or high-pressure tactics throughout the course of my case. Thank you, Redmond, Randy, Sarah, and others who worked behind the scenes, where you ALL contributed to make a positive outcome for me as I continue to heal with lifelong injuries.

Friendly and efficient law firm full of amazing people

Last year my boyfriend and I were in the backseat of an Uber on I-8 when we got rear-ended. It was bad. The rear bumper came all the way into the back seat where we were sitting, and it is a miracle we weren't killed. We all suffered pretty serious injuries, including the Uber driver. We all went... to the hospital via ambulance, and thankfully I didn't have any broken bones. My boyfriend got a pretty big cut on his face, but overall, we were okay, just really bruised and sore. Not long after the accident we decided we should probably hire a lawyer. My boyfriend's mom was aware of Randy Walton and Walton Law Firm so we called Randy. We feel lucky that we did. It turned out that the insurance situation was complicated. The driver who hit us had a low insurance policy, but Randy and Kristen were able to open a large policy that covers Uber drivers. That turned out to be so important, because as time went on, the back pain I was feeling from the accident didn't go away, and I needed a lot of medical care. Plus, it was impacting my job at Starbucks. Anyway, the Uber insurance company eventually offered its entire policy, but that had to be divided among all the injured parties, including the Uber driver. It all took a little while, but at the end it was really worth it. Randy and Kristen were able to get me to better doctors and ultimately got me more money than I thought was possible. They were really friendly and welcoming, and great about keeping me informed as the case went on. I would highly recommend them if you have a personal injury case.

Local Attorney helped me in a tough time!!

I cannot stress enough how great my experience was at Walton Law Firm. I am Cory and on my day off some friends and I took our bikes for ride on Pacific St. in Oceanside, near where I live. We were close to Buccaneer Beach when a car turned left right in front of me and my friends and literally ran o...ver me. Thankfully my friends are all lifeguards and paramedics so they were able to stabilize me at the scene, but I was transferred to the Trauma Unit at Scripps La Jolla with several fractures and ended up spending several days in the hospital and missing months of work. It was a major disruption in my life. I was under a lot of stress and going to a lawyer seemed like the last thing that I wanted to do. I was referred to Walton Law Firm by a friend, and am feeling grateful that I ended up with Randy Walton and his team. It turned out the person who hit me was uninsured, but thankfully I had underinsured motorist coverage and Randy was able to get me the entire policy limits after some wrangling with my insurance company. I highly recommend Walton Law Firm to anyone in North County has been injured in an accident.

The Go To Law Firm

Bottom line: This is absolutely the firm to go to if you need a personal injury lawyer. Why: I met Randy 10-15 years ago in a course we were both taking. He was a genuinely warm and friendly guy - like you know you'd become friends if you were neighbors. We didn't maintain contact, but I remembe...red him a decade plus later when I was researching options following a car accident. My experience with him as a client exceeded my already positive impression. During this time and unrelated to the car accident, my life became quite challenging. Randy went out of his way to offer support and encouragement that I didn't expect nor ask for. It was always clear that the number one priority was my well-being. But wait, there's more :) The cherry on top is Sarah, Randy's paralegal. Sarah and Randy are both cut from the same "good human being cloth." With kindness and grace, Sarah made the nitty-gritty process as smooth as could be. I trust this team implicitly and highly recommend them.

Great Experience

My son was hit by a car and had a serious and possible permanent arm injury. I was referred to Randy by a friend who was an Assistant City Attorney in San Diego County. Randy had a case against this the city and won the case for his client. My friend had so much respect for Randy and his law firm ...that he still referred me to Randy. That says a lot! I do not write many reviews. However, we were so happy with the outcome of our case, I simply had to tell SOMEONE. There was never a time that I called the office and was not able get an answer to my questions. Though Randy’s door always seems to be open, his paralegal, Sarah, is a huge help. I would certainly refer anyone to the Walton Law Group.
