We have horrible "neighbors". After my husband asked the father of a boy who was harassing our autistic 4 year old son, we found ourselves involved in a Child Protective Services investigation. The allegations made by the "neighbors" were unsubstantiated. They were not satisfied and called the sherif...f. When the sheriff refused to file a report, 3 housewives conspired together and filed TROs (temporary restraining orders) against my husband. They also called his employer. We prevailed and were awarded our fees ($14K) Bill was always very focused. He was very skilled in dealing with the other attorneys, always had the upper hand, understand clearly what we had at risk and defended us. When he cross examined the plaintiffs, he knew just the right questions and very skillfully got the plaintiffs to demonstrate how abhorrent their behavior was. The judge even admonished them. Another example of how skilled Bill is; we won by directed verdict. He blew their claims of harassment wide open and the judge tossed their case.
