Do not hire him. I had a bit of a complicated DUI case and I was extremely upfront with him about it. He was very enthusiastic at first and said he would handle getting my DUI classes and Volunteering transferred to another state when I had to suddenly move, and get my driver's license unsuspended ...in CA based on my completing everything the court ordered. The second he got the payment that HE CAME UP WITH he was totally unresponsive. I had to get in touch with the court and they told me he had not provided them with what they needed, and when I told him that he was so rude and asked for more money. I had to hire another attorney and basically start all over. Save your money and hire someone else.

Getting a DUI causes a lot of initial stress and a lot of unforeseen costs. After calling dozens of attorneys I felt Mr Owens was suited me best for what i needed. He was able to come up with a payment plan to help relieve some of the initial stress, i didnt have to go to a single court date, file ...any paper work, he did it all. I cant imagine how stress-full the situation would have been without him, he made it easy as hell. I hope i dont need an attorney again, but if i do it should be pretty obvious who i will be calling. I was attacked and because I won the fight, I was arrested! Troy Owens was my attorney and he would not let me settle the case even though I wanted to. The offer from the DA looked good and I was avoiding jail, but Troy convinced me that my innocence and keeping a clean record was a lot more importan...t. I'm so glad I listened to him and let him fight for me. I'm not guilty, I have no record, and its all because of him!
