We'll enough

Patricia McCabe is very good. She is very humble, yet confident about how she conducted herself in private and in front of the judge. I am appreciative to her law firm for taking my case and for helping me prove my case. I wish her many years of success.

Ray of Light in a Dismal Process

Thank you for your continued diligence in a protracted system! I'm sure I would've given up except for your positive outlook and empathetic demeanor. I can't express my heartfelt appreciation for the years you've put into the successful culmination of a very daunting process. I feel compelled to reco...mmend you to anyone! It's not always easy to get in touch with you, I know first-hand how busy you guys are, but I'm hoping you see this review and can comprehend the extent of my gratitude!

Knows The System Inside Out

First off, you will be irate, scared, angry, and desperately frustrated by the SSI SSDI process. These cases take years to get heard by a judge, so each person will have a different experience they will go through. In my case, I had lots of medical records and A LONG WORK HISTORY. I am 55 years old. ...I wasn't barely 50 when I started the claim. But by the time I went before the judge all that growing older had helped since I saw doctors the entire time. But getting back to my point of this review, these are long, frustrating cases. SSDI SSI can take a long time to get resolved. Patricia and her staff will not always get back to you immediately, they will not always answer your calls the same day, they will not always return your emails in minutes after you send them. But they will get back to you, and they are aware of your case and the status and they will update you when they get a chance. They are moving it along properly and remember they have other clients, not just you. So I want to say, after all the frustration, all the patience, and all the pain you will go through, it's best to have a Lawyer WHO KNOWS THE SYSTEM INSIDE OUT. She knows all the judges, she knows everyone who works at the SSI offices, she will get you the best result she possibly can. Her staff will assist and update you as well. But this whole thing will test your mettle. It is not fun to go through this disability process. In closing, after having warned you of how difficult it is, I'd choose Patricia McCabe Law Offices again. I got everything I hoped to get from my claim. I did the right thing by hiring McCabe Law of Van Nuys after my second denial. We got all my retroactive and my back pay and everything, going all the way back to the beginning in 2012. She has 25 years experience and she runs a small Law office, but sometimes that is the right combination. It was for me. I knew, they knew me. I wasn't just a number in a computer.

Nothing short of amazing

Patricia McCabe has been a godsend through what has been the most challenging and terrible time of my life. I hired Patricia after my initial SSDI claim I had filed was denied. We met in her office. She was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about my medical conditions. She... explained the process of what would happen next in the process and how long it would take. Patricia and her office handled all of the forms and paperwork from that point onward. The office staff were easy to reach via email, and gave instruction when I received stuff from the SSA. They were always prompt to respond. I was pleased with how they addressed my concerns along the way. When I was sent for two consultative exams the SSA set up, they told me what to expect and to treat it like a regular doctor visit. Any questions or issues that came up for me I emailed and had a response within a day or two. The team that Patricia has working with her is amazing and will help to the best of their ability. Naturally it was disappointing for my reconsideration to be denied. Patricia handled the appeal/request for hearing after that denial also. The hardest part for me was waiting for the hearing which took a year and a half. Patricia took time before my hearing to meet with me in her office and review my medical file, doctors seen, treatments done, etc. She had a special form for my treating doctor to complete regarding my medical conditions and how it affected me. She took care of all of the legal paperwork and preparations for me, which I would have been unable to complete due to being sick. This put me at ease in an extremely stressful time. At the hearing, Patricia was extremely professional. She asked me questions following me speaking with the judge to clarify my answers. She did not make me feel nervous, and I was quite glad to have her there with me as I had never been to court or gone before a judge. That part was stressful, but Patricia took all of the guesswork out of it. She was patient and kind, and treated me with the utmost of courtesy. I was confused at times, but Patricia handled all of the legal parts so I just had to answer the judge's questions. In the courtroom it felt as if Patricia were my trusted advisor and ally. What more could you want from a disability attorney? After the hearing we reviewed what happened in a private room, and then I got to go home. Patricia had instructed me to contact her when I received the determination. It was fully favorable, which is not surprising given the time and care Patricia put into a not particularly easy claim. She then indicated I would await payment processing, and the anticipated wait for payment of past benefits. I would not hesitate to hire or refer Patricia. She never once doubted me, questioned the legitimacy of my health issues, or treated me with disrespect. Her positive attitude and tenacity are reflected in her outcome: a fully favorable determination. She handled all of the SSA stuff for me so I didn't have to. I speak from experience that it can be difficult finding the right representation when handling SSDI claims. Finding Patricia was a stroke of luck, and hiring her was the best decision I could have made. Patricia made everything so easy for me. All I did was stay in contact with the office, go to me CEs, and show up in court. Patricia handled ALL of the rest. Hire her. You won't regret it. I am eternally grateful for the help and work Patricia did fighting for me and my benefits due. She is nothing short of amazing!

I WON MY CASE BECAUSE OF PATRICIA McCABE

I was 45 years old when I hired Patricia McCabe after my claim was denied by Social Security even though I knew I had a winning case as I had become disabled. I met with Patricia and she gave me confidence that I my case had merit and that I had to be patient given the very lengthy process of SS app...eals. She never doubted my case or me even after I went though medical exams ordered by SS. I was always able to call her and speak with her or a member of her staff to help guide me and my family though this difficult experience. She prepared for for the process including the final hearing when we won after 3 years of waiting from the time I had become ill. She is great and very wonderful and has changed my life for the better
