Rozanna Michelle Velen accepted my $7500 Retainer, I received NOTHING in return? She refuses to speak to me? She is going to file a Restraining Order on me tomorrow because I asked her for my $7500 back! So now I can`t even call her office? She took on a Child Custody Case to help another Lawyer and... let mine go! I called her and waited all day for her to return my call. She Never did! She emailed me and said "Sorry" and that she would not have my case ready for the Court date! She said she would call my wife`s Lawyer to ask him if she could bring the missing paperwork with her to the Hearing? He must have said no? Then I received an email from her quitting my case? Keeping my $7500!!! I got NOTHING! Except an R.O. she is filing on me tomorrow? To keep me from asking for my money back? She forgets! She calls me and yells at me where is this paperwork? I said I sent it to you 2 days ago on a word doc. like you asked? Then she bills me for the phone call $95. She sets up a meeting, we go in the conference room. she shuts the door, slams her hands down on the glass table and yells at me, G.D. where are the answers`s to the production Questions! I needed them yesterday? Then she whips out a blank piece of paper and says. Look how easy this is, a,b,d! Very angry. I said are you done with your rant? Then I showed her the exact instruction paper she had given me, completed! She forgot she even gave it to me? Then she tells me to take my case home and organize it? I said it already was? She was going to charge me $475 for an hour to organize (staple) my case together? Where is here Intern do do that??? I did it! She charged me around $1500 for that meeting, to ask me questions she forgot??? She double charges so much, even she doesn't know how much? She told me the Judge we had was CRAZY, 3 separate times! She told me twice she would stay with me till the Hearing she had set. Then Quit, breaching our contract! Keeping the $7500? She offer me a Settlement? I said NO WAY! I don`t settle when someone does NOT complete the work, is late and what am I supposed to do now? She is a "Certified Family Law Specialist?" She caused me so much stress on top of this already stressful divorce! She is Dangerous to people coming to her for help! ! A weaker person might really be hurt by her actions! I am filing a complaint with the CA BAR! I am going to seek a Lawyer to consider suing her for all this stress she has caused me! My $7500 gone! I have nothing to show for it! Beware of this $475 hour Lawyer! She took my $7500 and now she is filing a R.O. on me for NOTHING! Just so I can`t call her office and ask for my money back! "What We Do In Life Echos For Eternity!" KARMA! DON`T DO IT! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! I am! This on top of an already Stressful divorce! I am so sorry I retained her! Now I have no Lawyer, she took my money, and now she is filing an R.O. on me?
