Joseph is a saint, he took over my four year custody case and got my daughter back. The opposing attorney was an unscrupulous shark who played a textbook scorched earth strategy, through over litigation. I couldn’t afford to pay my previous attorney anymore, who just quit on me. I was overwhelmed an...d started suffering depression. I hate to admit this, but there were times I just wanted to quit. Joseph was always there for me emotionally and legally, he kept me going. I had previously hired another attorney to write a letter to withdraw a no-fault eviction under the LA county eviction moratorium, which was successful. When I was then concerned with prospective buyers coming through and filling the place with covid, that attorney had wished to negotiate multiple o...pen-houses per week in lieu of the traditional 24 hour notice showings, which of course is worse... Highly fortunate that I found Joe Kellener at Dignity Law, who patiently listened to my situation and then laid out all the ways I could remain protected in a very succinct manner. He knows all aspects of tenant-landlord law, and will not blow smoke nor give you fake promises or guesses at what can be done. They also charge significantly less per hour than the many other firms I contacted, and have been open to my nagging questions without charging for every conversation. "I'm here to help and I only charge if I have to do something". In this very tense covidy circumstance, Joe has allowed me to breathe again.
