2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer - lemon 3 weeks in. E-brake engages on freeway, full electrical failure, dealership/manufacturer admitted failures irreparable. This law firm insisted the only way to settle was for us to eat all the $ for add-ons at dealership. Also said we had to keep making payments pa...st settlement and we'd be reimbursed for them. When it settled we lost over $6000 to the dealership and another $4000+ for additional payments and won't get paid. The Manufacturer deleted our account and has nothing to say. If we call manufacturer, get a call center that says - "sorry you have no account with us. We have no records." The dealership says they mailed the money to the manufacturer. The attorneys got paid and have wiped their hands of us. Says they've done all they can. All told, everybody got paid but us. We lost around 10% of our money on a $105,000 purchase and a ton of work and inconvenience. It's not a settlement, we paid to have all this happen to us. It's a hustle where you lose more money and surrender a brand new broken vehicle and the dealership gets paid, the lawyers get paid, the manufacturer gets money and the car back to sell again. I don't know how you should solve a Lemon Law problem, but I know now that this isn't the way.
