I want to give very harsh criticism about this lawyer, and I will not recommend this lawyer to anyone under any circumstances. This was my first time getting a DUI, and my blood alcohol level wasn’t that high, about 1.1. I wasn’t speeding nor did I have an accident; I was pulled over for changing lan...es without signaling. On the first day I contacted this lawyer, he said there was a very high chance he could get the case dismissed, and if not, it would just turn into a simple ticket. Unfortunately, most of the charges I faced were not dismissed, and I ended up with about three years of probation, one year of license suspension, roughly three months of classes I had to pay for, and also some fines. I emphasized to him how important it was for the case to be dismissed or at least reduced to a ticket, but sadly, he was never really responsible. Once he took my payment, it was really hard to reach him. He postponed my court date three times, and I even realized he was out of town at one point, and I couldn’t even see him in person until the actual court day. He never called me to discuss my case, and I basically met him for the first time in court. My language skills are weak, so I signed a document that ended up being a plea deal at the highest level of fines, and even after that, I had questions and he’d just look things up online for me. I would never recommend this lawyer because he’s not responsible at all. A friend of a friend of mine (an acquaintance of my friend) with a higher blood alcohol level (1.3) hired a different lawyer, and the case got dismissed. So, this lawyer just took my money and never responded. I’ve been on probation for three years, and he said I could request an early termination after one year, but now that it’s been a year, I can’t even reach him. I strongly recommend you check other reviews on sites like Yelp; there are many one-star reviews with similar issues. This is a very important matter in life, so please choose a good lawyer so you don’t end up like me. and I’m extremely dissatisfied with how this all turned out. Also, I wanted to add that even if I hadn’t hired a lawyer at all, I probably would have ended up with the same charge, maybe even in a better situation. This lawyer didn’t do anything for me, and I basically threw my money away. Unfortunately, the case ended up in the worst possible way.
